posted a message on The End
When 1.9 pre release whatever came out and the End was added, i was dissapointed... I mean really Notch? The place is damn ugly, first the sky looks like a static TV, the ground look like cheese, and it has giant ****ing pillars made of obsidian coming out of the ground. Then when the boss fight was in i was like, NOTCH now you just added another layer of ugly to the End.... I am really dissapointed, and wanted something a bit more scary and pretty. Anyone else agree?

And just to make this clear, I love Notch and the whole Mojang team, I just don't like everything they do.... I mean seriously, MC is my favorite game, but some stuff gets me pissed when it is ugly.

posted a message on Texture Pack Request....
I am planning to get a group to help build both Wayne Manor and the Batcave.... my hope is that it has it's own texture pack.....

SOOOO, here is where you come in... I need a texture pack that is preferable 16 or 36 pixels and is both bright and happy, but also dark and weary. They Manor obviously has to look like a house, with dark wood and maybe light wood too....

I hope whoever makes this pack will look at pictures of wayne manor, to get a good idea.... and the same for the bat cave.... there should be bluish stone, cool grass, one block should be a computer screen... and then, knock yourself out! Oh, and zombies should be joker henchman.... the bow should look like a batarang, and hopefully the arrows can too. swords should be (in order of wood, stone, iron, gold diamond) baseball bat, pipe, knife, staff, electric baton.... fishing pole should be a bat claw, and from there... be creative.... whenever you have a few cool new things, pm me a pic!

There will only be one texture pack artist only because everyone has a different style, and i want to keep a consistant style.

No application, but you MUST provide some sort of link to past texture pack work

posted a message on A use for Netherrack
The reason I love this idea is that it adds another use for netherack and blaze rods. Before, blaze rods acted like pixie sticks, the candy, just break the stick and powder comes out. It also doesnt add an ore to the nether, which i REALLY didnt want.

posted a message on Need People To Help on a Batman Project- NOT A SHOW
As many should know, Batman: Arkham City came out October 18. But apparently even pre ordering it a week before release date, and then the fact that I couldn't pick it up for another week, I just played the game for the first time on Friday. It is amazing, easily one of my favorite games. I found all Riddler trophies and solved all his riddles in the first game, and I hope to do the same with this game. I want to combine my two favorite games, Minecraft and Batman. I want to make Wayne Manor AND The Batcave. This would be a map, that people could download. But I am not alone on this project, my friend Mroc170 also wants to help. He would be over al builder and communicator. What do I mean by communicator? This means that he will use Skype to get across messages.

I hope to run this on a server..... so if anyone wants to please run the server, you will be credited when I post the map.

Now, what positions do I need?

    Designer/Builder

I need someone who can design the manor and Batcave, and make some blueprints or even build it yourself. First, the manor has to be pretty big. Look up pictures of Wayne Manor and some easy inspiration will come up. For the exterior at least. A challenge that may be difficult to overcome is the texture pack. Not only does the manor and cave have to look good in the default pack, but also the custom pack I hope to be have made. The texture pack should either be the first thing we do, or the last, and I most likely suggest last due to the fact that the official release of Minecraft comes out in a week. I will give the designers some rooms that should definantly be made, and the rest is up to you!

    Redstone Techie

I need some really good redstone technicians, because the Batcave needs them. I am hoping to have a library as a room, but in the library/study, a hidden button is found. (Or we can use the redstone ore block update trick.) A 2x2 doorway opens up from the bookcase and when you walk through, an elevator is found. This elevator takes you very far down, and it has to be very quick. Then, at the bottom, there will be a 9 digit combo lock that if not finished in a certain amount of time, will lead to your death. Punching in the correct code will open some doors into the Batcave itself. I'm gonna be 100% honest, I have no idea what will be in the Batcave.

    Texture Pack Maker

This is the real gold in this map, the texture pack. The reason is, is that it makes this really original. I have seen a batman texture pack out there, but it isn't really what I was going for. I mean a dark, gritty texture pack. But on the other hand I want a manor to be made, which obviously can not be dark and gritty. The Batcave is the dark part. I also want this texture pack to be something people would want to use outside of this map. That is the real challenge.

If you are not interested in joining, but have a great idea for the batcave or the mansion, please leave a comment. But if you are interested, here is the application layout.

    IG Name:
    Age:
    *Time Zone:
Skype (somewhat optional, if there is another way to communicate that is easier for you, that may be fine, but preferably skype):
What Position are You applying for:
    *Can you host a server:
*Past Work I can take a look at that pertains to what you are applying for:

    * Not necessary if applying only to host the server.

Notch keeps saying that there will be no official 1.9 update. Yet, he keeps giving out pre-releases to 1.9. If there will be no 1.9, then there could be no pre release for 1.9. There could be 1.8 post-release or 2.0 pre release. Just a bit of logic that is gonna start a huge troll argument! Have fun..... :iapprove:

posted a message on Batman Mod
Having JUST received Batman: Arkham City yesterday (yes I know it came out the 18th of October, but apparently pre ordering a week before it comes out gets you the game two weeks later, and then the addition of being able to play it for a week, leads me to going almost insane.) Back to the game though. I love the game, and have been a fan of the first game. I even collected all collectables and solved all riddles in Asylum. But now, I want to combine my two favorite games, Batman and Minecraft. Can't you just imagine the possibilities of a Batman mod. There could be grapnel guns, and freeze rays, and killer umbrellas....

    Costumes

Having a costume is a big part of being a hero. To make a costume, you need to make leather armor like you usually do. When you have a peice of leather armor, and you add the correct dye, you make a costume. i.e. a leather tunic added with gray dye will make Batman's chestpeice. Though leather armor is extremely weak, these costumes are very very sturdy. So this is a great deal. For some costumes, a cape is neccesary to complete the costume. And all costumes also need a utility belt. When the leather helmet is changed into a hero's helmet, it has built in detective vision. This can be acessed by pressing M. When combining all correct peices of armor in a crafting table, you make a full costume. When you put a costume on, you need it to be in full costume form. This will be acheived by putting the kit in the head slot. The reason for this is because when you put on a costume, your whole body is changed to the costume, like you changed skins. The full costume will also be used in making kits later on.

    Costume Perks

    Batman

    x1.5 more damage resistance

    Robin

    x2 more jumps hight

    Catwomen

    No fall damage

    Nightwing

x.5 more fall damage resistance and x1.5 jump hight

    Batman Gadgets

As all Batman fans should know, the Dark Knight has an assortment of gadgets in the game. These include a grapnel gun, Batclaw, Batarangs, and others. A grapnel gun would do exactly what it does in the original game. Shooting it would produce a string and hook. The string would look the same as the fishing pole string. Next, the Batclaw could hook onto mobs, both peaceful and hostile, and pull them. This could also grab onto dropped items and bring them to you. Batarangs are a simple and easy way to hit enemy's from afar. They lock onto enemy's so even if they move the target will be hit. Another trusty gadget that is useful and I was glad to see in the new game is the smoke bomb. These are very useful for skeletons and guards. And where would Batman be without his detective vision? This is very similar to the game's version. You can spot enemy's through walls and they look like skeletons with flesh over them. Last is the cape, which allows the player to glide.

    Other Hero Gadgets

Batman can be a bad ass alone, but with his side kicks to aid him he is almost unstoppable.

    Robin

Robin is equipped with a staff, detective vision, a grapnel gun, a cape, a version of a Batarang, an inverted batclaw, and explosive gel.

    Catwomen

Catwomen has a whip, which acts like both a batclaw and a grapnel gun, she has detective vision, caltrops, claws, and bolas a laser (which can destroy blocks in a few seconds, but doesn't drop a block, it can also grab .....

    Night Wing

Night Wing's gadgets are detective vision, a grapnel gun, a version of a batarang, a batclaw, shock batons (which shoot lightning at a target, and wrist darts.

    Kits

Being able to pick different sets is a luxury. To make a kit, you have to get each gadget for each character and put them all in a crafting tabe. This will make a kit for that character. i.e. I put detective a Robin costume, staff, grapnel gun, shuriken(s), a batclaw, and explosive gel in a crafting table it will make a Robin Kit. There will be a block called the quick change block. It is two high and looks like a see-thru pod. By right clicking on the pod with a "kit" the kit is placed in the pod and the player model appears in the pod with the costume that goes with the kit. When right clicking on a filled pod, you quickly change into the outfit and those gadgets appear in your utility belt inventory. To access the utility belt, press the R button by defualt. It can only fill nine slots and gadgets and weapons can only be placed in there. In the utility belt GUI you can click a button to switch your hotbar to your utility belt. The great part about pods is that you can quickly change between characters, and it makes a cool Batcave.

    Custom Kits

I love customization... and who doesn't? So i think this mod needs a customization element. There should be a block that is bassically an in game skin maker. You then transform this skin into a full costume and can make a kit out of this. But, of course, you dont just want a custom skin, but custom gadgets. That means that you can take gadgets and weapons you have and make an assortment of nine. So you are almost completely customizable. These are semi expensive to make, each requiring one diamond and two gold, along with other materials.

    Weapons

There are all sorts of weapons in the game. And I always get so frustrated with the B-Man that he just doesn't just pick up a gun and shoots the heads off of those bastards. There are an assortment of weapons including blunts, blades, and firearms.

    Blunts

    Pipe and Broom

    Blades

Knife, Dagger, and Broken Bottle (again, didn't know where to put them) (bottles are throwable)

    Firearms

Pistol, Shotgun, Machine Gun, Sniper Rifle- These are only CRAFTABLE firearms.

    Villian's

These are listed in order from least rare to narwhale rare.

    Two Face

He can be found anywhere. His base is very easy to infiltrate. And the boss battle can be accessed easily... However, you need to take out all henchman before fighting him. He is equipped with a pistol and machine gun. He is surrounded by a toxic pool. With random debris to get to him. If you fall in the toxin, you are screwed. He drops a pistol, gold ingots and a lot of experience. Two Face's goons drop a random weapon and experience.

    Mr. Freeze

His base can only be found in snow biomes, and is semi rare. All henchman have the same skill level. When you get through his lair, you find him in a large room. He has a freeze ray that makes many blocks around you turn to ice. It can even turn you to ice. Compared to other bosses, he is somewhat difficult. He drops a freeze ray, and experience. Killing him is the only way to get the freeze ray. The henchman drop either ice, or a random weapon other than a fire arm. They also drop experience.

    Penguin

Penguin's base can be found only in snow biomes. His base is very very large, and is filled with water. There a very good amount of guards. After all, he only settles for the best. His boss battle is surprisingly easy. He is very weak, but the real challenge is getting to him. His umbrella can change from a shotgun, pistol, or machine gun. Just by pressing N until you have the preferred gun. He also can glide with his umbrella. When he dies, he drops his umbrella and experience. The henchman drop a random weapon and experience.

    Joker

The Clown Prince Of Crime! The one we have all been waiting for... His base is very rare...His base is a church, and you can find him at the top of the tower. He has many goons. He also has a pre- boss battle, Harley Quinn. She is found in the same place as Joker. When you find Harley, she has a gag BANG gun, that can also be converted to a real pistol that shoots sticks. Joker is also challenging. He has a rocket launcher, and an electric shocker. Much like the electric batons Night Wing owns. Harley drops the two weapons she owns and experience orbs. Joker also drops the two weapons he has, and experience orbs.

    Riddler

Riddler is my personal favorite Batman villain. His base is EXTREMELY RARE!!! It is underground, and there are very few in world. Once you get there, there are no henchman. There are only signs that lead you through his base. There are many redstone traps, including pistons. There are mazes and other challenges. There are also riddles you have to solve. When you finally find the Riddler, he is a bit hard. You will see multiple different types of goons from different villains. Riddler takes control of them with his cane and then you fight them. When you beat everyone up, the Riddler is all by himself, and that is your time to strike. He drops his cane and experience.

    New Blocks

    Plaques

Don't you get bored of just regular wood signs. And don't they seem... boring and non-rich. Now you can have silver or gold plaques to write on and label your pods! Cool right?!?!

    Electric Fences

Keep those pesky mobs and guards off your territory! The fence looks like a chainlink fence, and when powered on, it provides light. When you touch the fence you lose health. When one fence is powered, all fences touching that one are powered too.

    Lasers

Invisible. Painful. Deadly. You can only see these lasers with detective vision on. You need a laser block, to provide lasers, and then power them to activate a laser. The lasers go for ten blocks and then die off. These lasers will also break any blocks touching, unless you have the special block. Laser-Proof block. This also protects against the hand held laser.

Thanks for reading.... Please Please Please leave feedback. I have no idea about modding what so ever, so I want you to tell me both what you think of the idea, and whats possible and whats not possible to do.... Thanks and press the green button in the corner of this post if you like it... THANKS!!!
