posted a message on [Story] (Warriors of the Gods rerun. Title under construction.
Alright, so I got bored and decided to put my new edit after killing the "Warriors of the Gods" story, which a few of many people liked. Once killing the story, I probably had disappointed any fans of the story. Killing the story bored me to death, so I decided I should write another one and see what people think about it. After doing that, not many people saw it, and my tiny fan base didn't see it and still missed the story. That, I didn't really mind. But for some reason, I guess I had to simply post the new story I'm making.

This story is going to be completely original, or so I hope, but of course I'll still take some ideas from the old Warriors of the Gods story.

Edit: Because Ryukuyu thought I was under 9 years old or something because of my weight, then I simply must say my age for no apparent reason. 12. Happy?

~ Prologue: The perfect date ~

A spring Saturday morning in California. I yawned, rubbed my eyes then looked out my window. A thin gray haze set in over my neighborhood, like a blanket. My mind slowly recuperated itself as I sleepily went over to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I spit out the toothpaste, and then washed my face to help me wake up. Once I dried my face, I remembered what I was supposed to do this Saturday: Go out on a fancy date with my girlfriend, Natascha. Okay, not fancy, we were supposed to go to the nearby amusement park. But still, anything to spend the weekend with her. Oh, before I forget, the name's Andrew Petrenko, 14 years of age. I was born into a Russian family, but never spoke it, and I never tried. I don't even have the accent of a Russian, but that doesn't bother me. My relationship with Natascha started around 2 months ago, but that's a deep story, and I don't feel like going into that because I'm lazy. Anyways, I took a shower, put on my best "going-out" clothes, and ran downstairs. It was early in the morning, so no was awake but me. I hoped my mom wouldn't mind me going out for a few hours. Oh well, I still went, but I caught myself. I ran back upstairs and grabbed $40 to pay for admission fees or food or something. Then I walked to Natascha's house, which wasn't far because we live in the same neighborhood. She only lived a minute walk away, but that wasn't enough time to let me think how I should invite her over. I decided to play it simple, and before I knew it, I was at her door. I took a deep breath and knocked at her door. My heart was racing, and it felt like I was sweating. I continued to take a few more deep breaths. The door opened, but it was Natascha's mom. "Oh, hi Andrew," she said in a bright tone. "Come on in. Natascha's just getting ready for your, ah, date." She didn't seem like she hated me, but she said "date" like it was the worst possible thing ever. She invited me inside, so I stepped in. I walked around the interior of her house, feeling like her mom was watching me, but I didn't dare look her way. Finally, Natascha came down the stairs (which I didn't want to go up because I felt like I would invade her privacy, something-or-other) in plain clothes--jeans and a T-shirt. She grabbed my hand, called over to her mother, "I'll see you in a few hours!" and we walked out of the house. Once we were out of sight (or as I supposed), I blurted, "Does your mother hate me?" "What?" She replied. "I said, does your mother hate me?" She shook her head, "No, I don't think so. Why, was she giving you problems?" "Oh, no, never mind." We headed over to the amusement park, and once we got there, it was almost high noon, my estimation: around 10 A.M. We paid the admission fee, which was a mere $7 (which I thought was odd.) We barely got to plan anything before we started sweating. So we went over to an ice cream stand; plain vanilla for me, and Neapolitan for Natascha. Once we were finished, we had everything planned out. We went on a few of the rides once, had lunch, then a few more rides. We ended our date with the Ferris wheel in the afternoon. This was much more fun than I expected, and I really didn't expect anything. We walked back to her house first as the sun was dipping low. We said our goodbye, and then I went back to my house. Once I opened the door, I found my mom standing in front of the doorway, tapping her foot impatiently. "Where were you?" She snapped. I replied calmly, "I was on a date." "With who?" "My girlfriend, who else?" "And who is the "girlfriend" of yours?" I sighed with exasperation, "Her name's Natascha and she lives a minute walk away from here. Now can I go to my room? I'm tired." She glared at me for a while, then stepped aside. I ran upstairs, changed my clothes, and then lay down on my bed. That date really had me tired, so once I turned off my lights and lay down again, my conscious melted away and drifted off on the cloud of sleep.

    ~ Chapter 1: Another world ~

That night, I had a vivid dream. I was falling, and then landed on a patch of grass. Because this was a dream, I didn't get hurt. Of course, you can't control dreams, so I couldn't make myself fly or anything. Anyways, I was in plains, like a long stretch of land that seems to go on forever. To my left, there was a snowy forest. I thought it was weird, having snow right there next to me while the sun was in the middle of the sky. But I didn't mind. Living in California, we don't have snow unless we go to the mountains. But that was long. So I immediately headed there and played in the snow. What I didn't know was my joy would turn into anger, grief, sadness, and a whole lot of other emotions. I rolled in the snow, made some snowballs and threw them at trees, and had a lot of fun. Then I heard a small yip. The place I first landed in inhabited no other beings, or so I thought. One of the tree's leaves began to shake, and then a wolf pup appeared. It gave a small yip as it looked at me. "Aw, a wolf pup!" I said. Then, two other wolves appeared, making me jump and back up quickly. Before I could react, a whole pack appeared; at least 6 of them and 3 pups. The grown wolves growled at me, so I held my hands in surrender. The wolf pups were rolling around in the snow, something like those retarded puppies you see in cartoons with humongous eyes and their tongue sticking out. Still, I couldn't help laugh. But I didn't notice one of the pups rubbing against my leg like a cat. I bent down and pat the wolf's head, but then I noticed what a boneheaded move I made. It could have bit me. It could have rabies. What else? But it seemed so cute. So I pat its head again, and it gave a small yip. Then, all at once, the wolves charged. "Aaah!" I yelled, blocking my face with my arms, as if that was going to do anything. I lowered my guard, but the wolves weren't around me. I looked behind, but I saw the pack mauling a pig. It squealed as it was tackled down, and then gave a few more squeals. The sound emanating from it was silenced as I knew that it died. I just stared at the wolves as they snacked on the pig, the wolf pups being fed scraps. I'm not sure if it was my imagination, or a dream within a dream, but then the ground before me fell. The wind whistled in my ear as I fell, a dark laughter coming from no where. The voice said, "Puny human, fear me." The voice sent chills down my spine. "When the time comes, you will fight me. If you win, you will be set free. If you lose, your existence will come to an end." I had no idea what he was talking about, but I couldn't wake myself from this dream-to-nightmare. Then my vision blacked out and I awoke.

Here's the thing, you NEVER EVER EVER quote your character like how you do in real life. Easier to say is, the part where it says, "Matthew took out his laptop (which cost $3000 like mine, and I have cell phone lol) You NEVER EVER... Going on, you never do what you did in the part inside the parenthesis. It just makes things go BLECH. And if English isn't your first language, I understand. But if it isn't, then downright you need to fix this story. I am 12 years old (which compares to nothing because you're 11, I think) and I wrote an 18 chapter long story before I killed it, and I used proper grammar. Hell, I have no idea what I'm saying because nothing here makes sense as to my post. I think I'll quit my good-for-nothing rant...

Alright, because I can't decide, I need you're help. I wrote another story called Warriors of the Gods if you remember, and if you don't, then oh well.

What I need is if I should keep writing this new story as is, or just kill the story.

    Alright, here you go.

posted a message on Any cool mods to use in a let's play?
    Quote from healsthedead

i believe Too-many-items would be a really good mod for you to use if you die and want your stuff back

    No, that's illegit. A Let's Play requires legitimate-ness. TooManyItems = No.

Aside from that, try using the Doggy Talents Mod. It gives you an immediate wolf and other stuff. You can also name the wolf and give it some talents.

posted a message on Story being revised. Shut down until new re-post.
Alright, I'm stopping production on this story. Andrew doesn't seem much like a 14-year-old--I'm putting him in MY perspective, in other words, a 12-year-old. I really dislike that because it makes him immature. I'm probably going to work on it over Microsoft Word. Anyways, I'm terribly sorry for you guys who anticipated this story. Once it's all done, I'll post it, completely revised. Again, sorry.
