Don't believe what the wiki says, it's for outdated versions (1.7.10 and below). Use the book instead. As for the graphic glitch, don't use OptiFine if you are.

OK lol. Th graphic glitch isn't the normal flickering of the smeltery tanks whenever I put something in the smeltery it doesn't show up on the inside and it loaded in ghost blocks of the smeltery about 20 blocks away.

Having a small issue i have never had before can someone tell me if my smeltery is too big? its 9x9 on the outside making the inside 7x7 the wiki says that it cannot be bigger than 7x7 not including the corners.

i also get a weird graphic glitch whenever i put something in the smeltery and the only way to fix it is to mine the controller

If you are using NEI, and enable it in the config, you can use the U(sages) functionality to find out in what ore dictionary certain items/blocks are.

I did not see anything related to anything OreDictionary in the NEi config but I did the U thing and here are the results if any info can be obtained.

I'm glad you could figure it out.
That's not going to happen though, people requested the limit to be removed and that's what I did. I cannot add a way to change the IDs of the sub biomes. As the config entry says, it's only supposed to be used by those who know how it works.

I understand that now it would just be nice if some where it stated WHY someone should not turn the limit to false. to reduce the risk of people (like me lol) getting confused or messing things up in the future. Nowhere did i see any thing about Sub Biomes lol. Im just saying a word of caution would have been appreciated.

It worked Thank you to everyone that helped me. That 127 Limiter should be removed or the option to edit the sub biomes should be added.

I am going to put the configs for the 4 mods below so if anyone in the future has this problem they can refer to them or copy them lol.

    Wait, what?
Why did they ever include a way to disable 128 as the maximum without enabling you to manually set the sub-biome IDs?

I am glad that you are as puzzled as I am, mister PlatinumFox :)

So if that is the case, you need to use IDs 40 to 45 for The Betweenlands,
168 to 173 will then be for the Betweenlands mutations
So you'll have to move the Biomes o' Plenty biomes that are at 40 to 45 now to other free IDs - There's some available just above 100? - and the GC and GS IDs to above 173.

    Still everything under 255, though.

Yes this is very confusing lol.
ya ill move the between lands to 40-45 and i have 210-255 free so ill set those BoP biomes accordingly.
Lets see if this works lol

    127.

ok so whats the point of even having that section to turn the limit off, if when it is set to false 127 is still the limit

They're all base in the configuration. The mutant biomes are not configurable and only get ids when the game loads the biome config.

Ok so that would mean that no biome id can be larger than 130?

Your problem now is that the mutated versions of this mod's biomes are generating ids above 255. You need to drop the id numbers of Betweenlands biomes do that when you add 128 to the base biome id, the sum won't go over 255.

Sooo... which one is the base biome id? they all look static to me. none of them mention base biome id lol

    now im confused

256 is the maximum number of biomes that Minecraft can possibly handle, so no IDs above 255 can be used.

I wouldn't change the Biomes O' Plenty IDs
Do with Betweenlands as I just said.
Use biome IDs starting at 174 for the GC and GS mods.

I did as you said, I left the BoP biomes default (reloaded config file)
    Made betweenlands 168-174
GC 175 (with the +1,+2 thing that would mean that mars and asteroid belt are 176 and 177 respectively)
    GS 178-208

    "world and dimension" {
    # Prevents any biome IDs higher than 127. Setting this to false
    # is NOT recommended unless you know what you're doing! [default: true]
    B:"Biome ID Limit"=false
    I:"Coarse Islands Biome ID"=168
    I:"Deep Water Biome ID"=169
    I:"Dimension brightness (0-100)"=75

    # Higher numbers decrease rate
    I:"Frequency of Druid Circles"=100
    I:"Marsh 1 Biome ID"=170
    I:"Marsh 2 Biome ID"=171
    I:"Patchy Islands Biome ID"=172
    I:"Sludge Plains Biome ID"=173
    I:"Swamplands Biome ID"=174

I'm just going to ignore all the responses you've gotten on this thread so far.
Biome IDs can not be higher than 255.

Please re-read my latest reply on the BetweenLands thread.

XD ignoring them sounds like a good idea lol.

Thanks for redirecting me back there i must have over looked it the first time you posted it.
Ill fix it load up a world and server and see if that works (it should)
    Thanks again Robijnvogel
