Character Name: Talith
Character Race: Human(Raised by elves)
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:Talith was orphaned at birth and found lying in the forest by Calebrin the elf. He took the young human and raised him as his own. Talith didn't know what happened to his parents, but he was sure they weren't killed by orcs. As he aged, Talith realized he looked much different than the other boys. It then came time for Calebrin to tell Talith his true origins. Talith accepted this with the knowledge that he never fit in with the elves anyway. He then decided it was time for him to go be with other humans. He made a traveling cloak from the fibers of the forest plants and went on his way to his new life.
However, before he left for his travels Talith “borrowed” some scrolls from his adoptive father Calebrin. These were not the scrolls he was looking for, but he knew he could not return to find them. He needed some history and maybe a map of this mysterious land, for he had never left the comfort of his home in the forest and new just about nothing of the history and beliefs of the people living outside the forest. These scrolls were different. They seemed dark and dangerous. He dared to open one. He read and read. Soon he was well versed in the dark art of charm speak. He knew he wouldn’t be too good with it, but it would definitely come with practice. He knew this new skill would come with a price; he had to be careful how he used it. This was too much for him, so that night, he burned the remaining scrolls. The dark magic hidden in them would have to remain a secret.
Even though Talith had not even learned magic from the scrolls, he felt… different. Free. No, he would not let this get to his head. This charm speaking was only used by criminals. Masters of manipulation. He could not become that. But as he walked he felt as if there was something deep inside of him. Another side of him just aching to get out. He had to control himself. This wasn’t like him. He could hear the voices whispering in his ear. He knew he would never be the same again.
What are your characters ambitions?: To find any way he can to fit into this world as a human, and learn more about history and new cultures during his travels.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Talith is 18 years of age. He is a tall, shady looking fellow with slick black hair and large blue eyes. He is very ambitious, and will try almost anything to progress in his life. He is rather suspicious at times, but he is still good at heart. His Charm speaking is not necessarily magic, but it is a skill he learned from reading the scroll.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? “Hey you!” the little dwarf called out to me as I tried quietly to sneak by. “y-yes?” I asked shakily. “I think I have some things you might be interested in. Why don’t you take a look?” I walked over to his shop to see barrels of rotten fish, bloody rabbits, and disgusting looking fruit. “Um… I’d rather not. Thanks though.” I said as calm as I could. “Please sir” said the dwarf, “I really need the money.” I proceeded fumbling through my pocket for some of the few coins I had. “It’s not much, but it’s about all I got.” “Th-thank you sir! May your travels be well, and may good fortune be bestowed upon you!”Said the dwarf happily. “You too sir!” I said as I went on my way.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? “You got a problem with me? You’ve got lots ‘o nerve coming ‘round these parts and befouling my name!” I heard the Orc yell at the puny dwarf. “Please sir. I didn’t m-mean to offend you, I swear.” ‘now is your chance’ No, the voices were back. ‘use your charm speaking, it’s the only way you can help.’ He had a point. “Bilbo! There you are! I have been looking all over for you!” I yelled. ‘Bilbo? Yikes, that’s bad. Sounds like more of a hobbit name to me.’ “Who are you? You make me angry!” Said the orc. He was clearly uneducated, this could be easy. “Yeah wh-“ I cut the dwarf off before he could finish. “go with it” I whispered in his ear. “Sorry sir, my friend here had a little too much ale before we left. He doesn’t know what he’s saying!” I told the orc. “Sorry man. I’m so confused. Could we go home?” “WAIT!” yelled the orc, “I’m not letting you off that easy puny dwarf!” I had to think quickly. “Yes, yes. A man of honor like yourself would never let something like this go. How about you take this coin and we can be on our way?” The orc smiled and accepted the coin. He put it in his back pocket and let us pass. Little did he know I had pulled the coin out of his pocket as we passed. ‘Nice’ said the voice. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:“Help! Help” I hear the poor man screaming as he lies on the ground trying to get up. I collect the coins and begin walking away. “Stop! Thief!” Yelled the man. I turned back and helped the man up. He then pushed me over. “Wait” I said. I returned the coins to him. I helped him to the nearest town. I got him some medical aid and bought him a new walking stick. “I’m sorry about the money” I said. He replied “Here, take these. I could have died out there without your help” He handed me the money. “wait, I can’t accept this.” I said. “It’s okay, they’re yours” said the old man. He even included enough for the walking stick. I buy something from him if I have the money at the time. Even if it would be too much of a hassle to buy anything, a little donation never hurt anyone. I would give this poor dwarf some money so he can be on his way in the city. I wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to help someone in need.

As it turns out, it was all a big understanding, so they talked it out and went on their ways. If I couldn’t stop it, than I would have to get into the fight and get them to stop. I would try my best not to injure either of them but if it comes to that, I’d have no choice than to get physical.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. Well if you make it in gimp or paint you HAVE to make sure you make the area where the hat is is transparent, which I know you can't do in paint.
