posted a message on How Do you guys put up with night time/darkness
Before the last update, I used to exploit the wood glitch at night. I made a workshop where I would place stairs and then chop them up with an axe. Since the update I'm a bit lost of what to do. Sometimes I go into my mine, but I lose track of the day, and so once I come out again often there's just a minute or two of day before it's night again and am I like FUUUUUUU

Sometimes I just put my phone down and do something else, whilst my character stands in a safe place.

Yeah the nights suck. Hope the brightness update will fix that.

A Traveling NPC peddler who was a rare spawn, and only spawns in the day (but sometimes not at all), walks around your map, and who you could trade stuff with to get useful blocks like Clay or Ores.

Posted in the wrong thread before.

I think an absolute must is the SKY. Half the time the game is almost unplayable because the Nights are pitch black, and there's no way of knowing how long you have till night. I often get stuck on the opposite side to my village and its very difficult and frustrating trying to get back in the pitch dark, or just standing around fighting zombies until it's day again.

Also, obviously the maps aren't big enough for NPC villages. But think one NPC called a trader or something should be in the game. Perhaps a cabin can generate on the map with him inside. I think this is a must because if we could trade with that NPC it would allow players to access supplies of things like Clay and Sandstone that can easily run out if your seed doesn't have a big supply of!

The 100% most important thing they add into the next update is the SKY!

Seriously. Night time is virtually unplayable unless you're in your mine, or you place a million torches for whatever you are doing outside.

As you have no idea when night hits, often I'm on the opposite corner of my map (usually looking for sheep to shear), then it becomes night time in about 10 seconds, and I have to stumble around, not being able to see anything, hoping I can find my way back home. It sucks. We need Stars, Moon and Sun before all those things you mentioned imo.

Don't mine the redstone yet as it doesn't drop anything.

Lava has no use right now because there are no buckets. In fact lava is very dangerous in PE as it can set your entire world on fire due to a glitch. I would think a lot of seeds don't have a lava source in them.

Once buckets are placed into the game, making a swimming pool will be easy.

Every time you see an animal in the ocean kill it. They will respawn later, hopefully on land. (I had to kill almost all my animals, but now have lots spawned on land.)

posted a message on What's the most resource effective way to smelt?
So since the update I've been making stone slabs pretty hard, after making about 400 I went through my inventory coal. I have found plenty of coal in my world still, but I'm worried about running out sooner.

Is it better to make charcoal with coal and then use charcoal? Or some other method?

posted a message on Running low on sand. NPC trader needed
In my survival world I'm running low on sand. When the update comes will we need sand to make things like glass? People run out of trees, later sand, much later coal and metals too. If PE must have finite worlds it either needs the option to switch into creative so we can replenish depleted stocks, or more favourably, some way to acquire them, like perhaps an NPC trader who visits every 10 game days or so, and you can swap stuff with.

posted a message on How will the update affect my texture pack?
    Hi everyone.

Don't really know much about this. I have a texture pack installed in my game. When the update comes will:

    A. It will overwrite all my texture pack files with new updated files.
    B. it will overwrite only the affected files (I.e the tiles, but something like the zombie would be unchanged.)
    C. Nothing, but my game might not display new content correctly so I should reinstall the original files.

posted a message on Passive mobs in PE
Hi everyone some questions about passive mobs in PE:

    1. Do they respawn?

If so what are the conditions?

    2. Do sheep regrow wool?

    3. Why do they all like swimming in lakes?

Is there anyway to get them out?

    Thanks for answering! :D

posted a message on Skyrim Texture Pack Pocket Edition [3.0]
I tried it out, and despite the already mentioned errors it worked great! One thing is it seems a little dark on Pocket Edition, if it wasn't too much work, making the textures lighter would be great. I have never played PC minecraft, but looking at the screenshots it seems it has much more lighting in it than Pocket Edition.
