posted a message on Command Block Problem
Thanks a lot. I had always thought arguments had to be put after the whole command. Thanks! Also, once the player(s) get TP'ed to the location, they will be automatically out on a seperate team to prevent them from being constantly teleported.

    Thanks again!

posted a message on Command Block Problem
So I want to make a prison to where If I set a player to a certain team (Red in this case) a command block on a clock will TP them to the jail. The problem I'm having is the command block that TP's the player isn't working.

So this is the command I have on a hopper clock. Now, of course the problem is this is doing absolutely nothing (although if I remove the selectors, it works just fine.) Of course, I made sure I was on the correct team.

(This of course being me.) If anybody could tell me why this isn't working, that'd be great. I've looked on the wiki and multiple Youtube videos and don't see a reason why this wouldn't work. If it helps, I tested it on both 13w19a, and 1.5.2. Also, looking back, I should use @a instead of @p, but that still shouldn't be the issue. Lastly, if the answer is me just being an idiot, you have permission to laugh :P .

posted a message on how do you get a zombie spawner, creeper spawner etc.
Download MCEdit (Look it up on the forums.)
Place a spawner in the overworld (it should turn into a pig spawner.)
In MCEdit, click that spawner and select which mob you want it to spawn.
    Enjoy!

Here is a video of it as well:

posted a message on 1.6... What in-game content would you prefer? (NOT PLUGIN-API)
    They need to:

    Fixed up the HORRID terrain.
Fix a bunch of more bugs like in 1.5.
Get the lighting issues ironed out.
Rewrite some things in the game to get better performance (Right now, the game is horribly programmed.)
THEN, we can add some other fun things. We need to get the dirty work done first, though.

posted a message on The 1.5 Update - Performance Survey - Post your FPS rate!
    1.4.7: 150 FPS
1.5: 60 FPS with stutters every 30 seconds or so (Dropping it down to 0 FPS for about 2-3 seconds.)

    Intel i5 @ 4.0 GHZ
    MSI NVidia GTX 680
8 GB of RAM (3 GB devoted to Minecraft)
Minecraft is saved on an SSD.

This is ridiculous to have major lag problems on an official release. Poor practice by Mojang, and hopefully is fixed in 1.5.1.

posted a message on The pros and cons of 1.5.
1: It was needed. I don't care how bad you are, once you got iron armor in 1.4.7, you'd be invincible from skellys. Now, they're a bigger threat. Nothing wrong with more difficulty.
2: I agree, the bonemeal nerf, was unnecessary, and making it random is even worse as that ruins consistent auto farms.

The reason it's doing that is because your texture pack is outdated -_-.

For number 2, that is being fixed in 1.5.1 (coming next week) so you won't live with it for long.

There is no reason it should be reset then. It didn't do that to any of my worlds?

Nothing, you're probably very unlucky. Although how is your mob farm built to kill them?

posted a message on What's taking PluginApi So long?
We have more problems than lack of the Mod API. How about the garbage engine Minecraft runs on? I mean, Notch is a good guy, but what he left behind for Jeb was a horribly programmed game. The engine needs to be completely re-written. Assuming they re-write it for the better, this would boost everyone's FPS substantially at a lower usage of CPU, GPU, and RAM, this would remove a BUNCH of bugs, would making editing existing class files much easier, and modding in general easier, and of course, would make the beloved Mod API come along faster.

RIP Dispener/Dropper update bug. It has been in the game since Beta 1.2, and has been probably the most useful glitch to me, besides BUDs.

Oh well, glitches are glitches. Other than that, I can't complain with more bug fixes.

posted a message on The easiest way to kill the Ender Dragon.
In 1.6, the Ender Dragon needs a serious buff. Doing damage when it hits you, moves faster, and when he charges at you, goes even faster, breaths fire at you, and some boss music! C418, get to work buddy!

posted a message on Minecraft is heading in the right direction!
    Quote from MartyLoup

    ITT: mojang's equivalent of biodrones

minecraft is definitely not headed in the right direction. not to mention they're trying to get away with selling a half-broken game for $30, which is almost as bad as the WarZ scam.

I'm sorry, what? War Z was massively mis-advertising the game. Everything Mojang says is in the game, is really in the game. A half broken game? It's a lot less broken than it was in Beta and Alpha. They have fixed hundreds upon hundreds of bugs. If it's half broken now, then it must have been unplayable in Alpha by your standards.

And to the OP, I agree. Minecraft is heading in the right direction. What would make it perfect is if 1.6 was the "terrain update" where they fix everybody's complaints about the terrain, make more logic in it's generation, and add more biomes. THAT, would be the perfect Minecraft.
