I think if a boss monster were to spawn, you'd have to not be a yellow-belly to fight it, although it would probably stalk you. Butter furthermore, I hope Jeb pops right down to the code and puts his ear on the situation, totally adding these things, If this were implemented I'd have a lot of fun with it in a Minecraft kernel. (journal. that was a stretch.) But guys, in all honesty, i'm sorry for my...

    corny jokes.

posted a message on A Peaceful End
I think the End should be turned more into some kind of Alien jungle of weirdness with lots of purple and various inverted-textures-made-to-look-better being it's main attributes, but that's just me.

As for mobs, I think some kind of small passive cat-like dragon would be an interesting addition, it would add some life to the end, especially if there could be sort of a flourishing ecosystem of purple particled void creatures, but still, they'd need a purpose. Maybe the dragons could be mounts you could use to get around the new end? That'd be an interesting use. And as for drops, maybe they could drop dragon scales that you could use in some sort of potion brewing.

And not to mention the fact that the Portal back to the Overworld should be re-located, not just on the spot where the Dragon is slain-- plus, once the End re-spawns as the "new end" you should have to go searching throughout the islands for the Dragon's egg, not get it right there on the spot. ALSO, the Dragon's Egg needs a use! I don't care if we only get an omelette out of it!

...although I would prefer a baby dragon.

    Pineapple's Minecraft Journal
    version 1.8-pre3

    Description:
Minecraft is a great game, but I have never really had the attention span to get really far INTO the game.
This Journal is my attempt to complete Minecraft(defeat the Enderdragon).
What follows is a list of what I hope to accomplish through the course of this Minecraft journal.

    Goals:
    1. Obviously defeat the three (semi)Bosses of the game. (Enderdragon, Wither, Ancient Guardian)
    2. Learn to build Redstone contraptions.
    3. Build a city and populate it with villagers.
    4. Build structures, townships, and etc. across the entire world.
    5. Obtain one of every item in the game.

    Updates have begun!

    Update 01:
So I was just trying to play a few survival worlds, get into the Minecraft mood and try to build some cool stuff and suddenly I came across this world and knew it was right for this journal. THESE are my starting conditions!

What you can't really see there are two holes in the hills that are really awesome places for dug out mountain homes. But then I decided to go down into one and clear out the trees and try to make a home. After I cleared the trees, I went into the wall of this hill and started making a spiral staircase to bedrock and I came across a Dungeon with sweet loot!

I then decided to outline a home-- which I am now re-considering. I'm going to try and do it either in the mountain-side later on, or in the forest. Probably a house in the forest, and then move to the mountain-side. Anyway, I tried to make an outline and used a creeper to do a little bit of excavating for me.

I also tried to test some building ideas in a creative version of the map and discovered that in a fairly large looking cave it branches out to become a really twisting and winding cave system! Definitely something to explore when I have some armor/diamond armor. Anyway, this is small update #1. Hopefully i'll get a good idea for a house design and turn that into something good. I'm outtie! Peace!

    Update 02:
I decided it'd be best to use those holes in the ground for when I really get into the world and want to build something with them, otherwise they'll become quarries as there was a good cave system there. Anyway, I decide to move on and pack up, this is my last look into a rainy sky before I wander through the forest looking for a calm respite. (Yes, i'm using a texture pack now. It's called Coterie Craft.

So, i'm off as soon as dawn breaks! Ooo, this looks like the perfect little island to build a small two-story house on.

Oh, good. I was wondering if any of these little guys would show up. (The second one is just above the crosshair.)

And wow, some wonderful world Generation. I can't wait to build on those, make a floating observatory perhaps.

Anyway, I decided to look for some sheep. I found some dogs, sheep, pumpkins, and beautiful sights. After I found the sheep and everything a little while later, when I realized I had some wheat, I decided to bring them back to my WIP home. It was a bit dangerous considering wild wolves slightly blocked our path, and they just LOVE Mutton, but I got them home.

Speaking of home, let's see progress on that! I was thinking of making a spruce roof, which posed some minor problems.

I had to explore a little bit for that spruce, it was a tad difficult as the sun nearly set on me but I got back just in time to sleep-- I forgot to mention I made a bed with the Sheep's wool. Anyway, I was getting low on food (All I had was rotten flesh) so I went exploring for a bit while my wheat I had planted grew. I found some pigs to kill for meat, but a small plains biome I could easily use for lots of wheat, a farmhouse, and the like, and an odd pit.

I headed home, cooked the pork, ate the pork, and then got to some more work on my house. Played around with some ideas, and planted some more wheat, sugarcane, and spruce trees, and then I harvested all the spruce wood I could for the ceiling. And finally, I finished the house. It's blocky and a bit odd, but I intend to add onto it, and it'll do for now.

Anyway, that's all for Update 02. Thanks guys, I hoped you liked it! Seeya soon!

Love the journal-- you've inspired me to make my own! But I think you should put a little more color into the armorers. Maybe some wooden posts on the outside of the foundation, or just a different block color maybe like hardened clay. That'd make it look nice!
