Would it be okay to use the 'Last Airbender' Plugin with this? Me and my friends would be like sorcerers! :D

I don't see any reason why not! Post screenshots if you'd like!

Oh and in other news I've updated the map to version 5.1 and hopefully the issues as pointed out by our friend quadrupedal_pink_equine have been fixed in full

This was by far the best adventure map ever. I had to make an account just soo i can comment how great it was. Thank you for taking you're time to make such a great adventure map.

    Thank you :D

I played this before and loved it. Now I see it updated to the new version with custom music?!

    This looks worth a replay.

From my experience in the last playthrough, what needed the most improvement was the quest system. With a little redstone work I'm pretty sure you can make the sidequests much smoother.

But who knows, that could already have been addressed since my last playthrough. I'm doing it again.

Now that I've started, Let the feedback commence! I'm playing in 1.6.2.

    Digging this new music already

Xifang village needs less villagers now that they make noise. HEHHH HUHHHH HRMMM!!!

Swap out that mechanism you're using to set the time to midnight every few seconds for the freeze time command they added. I can hear the minecarts, which is distracting, they lag me, and it causes the moon to jitter in the sky.

Sweeet, the sidequest where you collect the girl's ingredients is actually possible now! I thought I had just missed something.

Cage jumping puzzle still annoying. :P

Empress Wuqing's fireworks still almost crashing my game due to lag.

Where'd all the zombie reinforcements go from Wuqing's boss fight? It was pretty much just her, and even more anticlimactic than last time. It's weird that stuff like getting the first metal fan weapon are borderline impossible and then this is just completely harmless.

Overall still one of my favorite adventure maps ever, you fixed and added quite a bit since last I played, and the music helps an incredible amount for completing the already wonderful atmosphere.

I'm currently working on the /time thing as we speak (testing it NOW) and I'm trying to figure out what when wrong with the Wuqing boss fight because they were at LEAST 8 samurai gaurds 2 witches and 6 invisible spiders

There's your new painting file that you can put in the resource pack. It's the same as before, just larger. Each pixel is now 4x4 pixels I think :D So anything you want to replace with HD is now possible because it is now a HD paintings file ;)

Looks great! Next update I might include them in the original resource pack!

just start playing minecraft... dont know anything

The pink trees are just trees that have pink wool instead of leaves. I've also changed the way pink wool is textured to make it look like pink flowers

Me and my wife downloaded this and the texture pack. I am running a generic straight from the minecraft website server. I start the server, we both log into it through multiplayer with our texture pack enabled and we are standing on a platform with strings in a criss cross pattern and can see buildings in the around us. Under the platform is some redstone and then just a superflat world.

What am I not doing correct?

    Did you enable command blocks?

I played through this map with my girlfriend and we had quite a lot of fun :) rather enjoyed the map, at some points.. it had a little too much.. parkour <.< had to cheat a little bit with teleporting.

On a side note, this is a map for 1.6+ so i would suggest making use of the /gamerule doDaylightCycle False and completely remove all the rail cart looping command blocks.. the spam that does to my console is just too unruly and it would probably improve the performance of the game ... and keep the moon in place instead of letting it rubberband continuously lol

another side note, is at the end of the game when you end up in your room my inventory was cleared.. my girlfriend's was not however (bug maybe?) either way you wanted us to mention our score sadly I can't remember :s but it was somewhere around i think 51?

    Keep up the good work!

    -Tony

It's supposed to clear the inventory of anyone who presses the button, so it's probably just a performance bug,

Hey, you should update your paintings to HD!

Sounds like good progress! I'm keeping them as is, because unfortunately some of paintings don't come in HD :C The ones that arent in HD were made by GaoFurui by hand.

Was the spawn set by bed or cmd block? I had this type of problem for my map and even after I thought it was a minecraft bug for ages it was due to a mishap in redstone... So was it a bed or cmd block... You know, I really should play this map one day I'm obsessed with Asia xD
Be sure to check out my map :P

The spawn was moved with McEdit (Where you first spawn with the huge tripwire contraption that sets up the map) but after that you can change your spawn with command blocks (Which look like stone lanterns in this map)

The system of saving your spawn isn't difficult in any sense and was easy to make with 0 redstone, Just a lever attached to a command block with "/changespawn a" on it.

Bug Report: I'm roughly 50% through the map, working on completeing the Ignorance Room in the Path to Nirvana area, when I miss one of the jumps and fall through the world. Next thing I know, I respawn in the turtorial room and it says the the bed as been misplaced/blocked. Ignoring the probable minor bug in the control cube, it there anyway to get back to where i was quickly without having to through the game on peaceful and spend an hour retracing my steps? Because I've really enjoyed your map so far, my prejudice against parkour aside.

Unfortunately I have investigated this bug hundreds of times and I've found no concrete fix for it, I thought it had to do with the level.dat but after replacing the old level.dat for a new one the problem persists. What I have noticed is that this issue happens to random players with no indication or pattern (Cerugador encountered it outside the Sunyata tree, my brother encountered it outside the Palace, while Xeraingaming and Thnxcya didn't encounter the issue at all)

As soon as I find a solution I will update the map to prevent further issues, but in the meantime you set yourself to creative and simply find where you left off (Although in the tutorial factory i'd recommend exiting from one of the windows rather than the lever, as the lever will clear your inventory) Going into peaceful is unnecessary .

posted a message on Servers these days..
At one point I wanted to create a server with four main factions that you could join that had exclusive access to certain resources, leading to either war or trade. These four nations would be based on Europe, Africa, East Asia and Meso-America and would have biomes and positions relative to their in real locations with East Asia situated in the East, Africa in the south, Meso-America in the west and Europe in the North. A sort of Hub-world based off of Morocco would form the hub of the entire server and a place for people to set up shops and trade their nations goods.

Europe: Temperate forests with fertile valleys in the south, mixed forests in the middle, snowy coniforous mountains in the north with tall mountains. Exclusive place to get Lapiz.

East Easia: Sub-Tropical forests with bamboo plants growing in thickets in the south-east, high mountains in the south with endless snow, temperate forests in the north with a small chain of islands in the west covered in coniferous forests. Exclusive place to get emeralds.

Africa: Large desert in the north with small oases. Desert turns to savannah the further south you get and turns into rainforest at the very end of the continent. A large mountain rises out of the savannah in the west with a large glacier. Desert contains giant amounts of minerals. Exclusive place to get gold.

Meso-America: grasslands and deserts dominate the eastern part of the continent, while rainforests the western half. Exclusive place to get redstone .
