I absolutely fell in love with you, until I read the bit about it not being MCPatcher compatible... Why not make a patcher for the pack, like the guy with the GLSL shaders did?
That looks rather similar to my blandcraft pack (I just desaturised all the blocks, and modified some, aww yeah!). You have to use the patcher for custom lava, and whatnot.
I remember back when I made a creepercraft texturepack. Although that was whipped up in 20 minutes, for laughs between me and my friends, whilst we finished off our mine. I love this, its brilliantly done. And somewhat creepy. (You all saw what I did there, and giggled)
Thats actually a really neat idea! I salute you for it. I wonder though, why directly underneath the Minecraft Beta 1.5_01 thingo, and not input it into the chat system? That would look a bit better, in my opinion. I guess next thing to work on would be text wrapping, so it doesn't go offscreen. (Just incase you're crazy and want to do your entire story on one line...)
I'm not sure if you know this already, but you can't adf.ly links to threads, or downloads which aren't yours.
Aside from that, it looks fun! Combine this with finitewater and you have some awesomeness waiting to happen.

I love how under the Emancipation Grid Bucket thing, it says 'How do I change the mode? Read the FAQ' and yet the FAQ says NOTHING about how to change the mode. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I read this post top to bottom, and bottom to top to check for info on changing the mode, yet didn't find it.
Ok, well I found info on it in the changelist. You should really add that to the FAQ, or more genius's (read: idiots) will come along and not see it.
For some reason the download doesn't work, it just says 'Please wait for your download...' and has a countdown that doesn't lead to anything when it's done. Can someone help please.
Agreed, adf.ly is a <Insert Various Swear-words Here>. Its servers must be down or something. For the love of christ, post a direct link, but just ask nicely if people use the adf.ly link so you get paid, if they enjoy the mod.
Alright, so just tonight I was surfing the forum and though, 'Wow, the Minecraft Forum sure is missing a lot of things in its emote/smiley list. And not everything is one size! This is terrible!!'
So, long story short, I set to work copy and pasting items around, and resizing everything so it all works. I present to you, the Complete Minecraft Emote Set for the forums. Problem is, i'm not an Admin and have yet to suggest this to Citricsquid (Heres to hoping he see's this, eh?)
Anyway, if you care to take a look at them, and suggest what else needs to be added, or just feel like flaming me for my bad skillz at CTRL+C and CTRL+V then send it my way!
As a note, everything is a nice 16x16 pixels, so everything would align perfectly.
Check it out. No seriously, check it out!
(Before you says 'Pics or it didn't happen' I would like to point out I just ripped the images directly from Minecraft.jar. So if you know what the default texturepack looks like, you'll know what this will look like.)

Add freakin' mushrooms (With freakin' lazers on their heads!)
Probably add monsters, and stuff.
Find anything else I somehow missed and add that. (I have a strange feeling I missed something obvious)
