    I would say that unless you're going for a volcano-ish map, then no. I would use a more natural block - smooth stone, sandstone and dirt come to mind - instead. You could also try a unique block type - like netherrack - to make it interesting.

    I was planning for it to be a castle-intersection type thing. Netherrack seems to sinister, stone is too mainstream, sandstone is just overused, dirt looks ugly, end stone looks too bright, stone bricks are a possibility, end stone looks too bright and obsidian is just way too dark.
    I need a list of possible base blocks, anyone has one?

    Umm... I've been wondering something, what does the chance do on the brush? I know changing the chance to a different number will give it a rougher texture but changing it to a different number dosen't change the roughness.

    GRAH! I just hate missing everything, dangit timezones and school. Also, I've started making a map... again but hopefully I don't lose interest in this anytime soon. And I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about this?

    I'm aware of the fact that sandstone is overused but this is the only area with sandstone as a base block. There's also something wrong, I don't know what it is but there's something that feels wrong about it

    Also, allizar, there is a map by Isaac Bardin called the Lonely Lands, you might want to change that a bit.

    If everyone decides to be hipsters then they are mainstream as they make up the majority thus the hipsters aren't hipsters and the mainstream people are now the hipsters.

    Well, not anymore...

    @Community Question I work on it about an hour a day on average, because I'm trying to finish some old games I've never gotten to finish due to computer changes and hard drive problems.
