    I've been gone from minecraft for a while, so I apologize for having to ask, but I really can't find what I'm looking for on my own. In the least vague terms possible, I will describe the old mod I've been trying to locate in case someone knows what I'm talking about.

    The mod functioned as follows: Using gold nuggets, the player would craft the rune-like rings that they would then place on the ground or wall or similar surface. Then, using gold nuggets and stuff like redstone, they would start adding a core effect. From here, they could add modifiers to the effect to get varying effects. I'll give an example. There was a ring that you would set down and give a redstone core. It would then shock nearby mobs with lightning. If you added redstone modifiers, it would increase the number of bolts. However, you could add a lapis lazuli modifier to increase the range, Now that's all I can really recall for examples, but they had all sorts of effects like one that would harvest wheat, one that would plant seeds,, one that would push mobs away and another that would suck them in. It came out fairly soon after the End was implemented, or at least it had been updated by that point to include the glow particle from the End that seems to be in all sorts of mods nowadays. It really was an intricate but not overly complicated mod.

    Thanks in advance for whoever can remember and/or direct me to the old mod. ((BTW, I'm not talking about runic dust. This mod was out before runic dust was even a thought in billythegoat101's head. It does have a similar feel to it, however.))

    This block is somewhat overpowered, it needs to be a damage over time deal for me to be satisfied. If it doesn't become so, touching the block twice would make it more reasonable, because a diamond sword does require 2 hits to kill a mob.

    My idea is that there be a mod that allows you to take a premade structure, and convert it into a two-dimensional schematic for use later. For instance, say I have a cross I made of gold, and I want to make a duplicate on the other side of the map. I would place a specific special block type as a corner marker, then go place another at the opposite corner to mark my frame to be made into a blueprint. The blocks within the frame would be converted into symbols that could be used as a "floor plan," i.e. as follows:

    This schematic represents the gold cross mentioned previously.

    The program would most probably need to be an external program, but in the right programmer's hands, it could most definitely be an in-game UI based installment.
