I agree completely, I was in my mansion, I dived off my diving board in to my swimming pool to get faceplanted in to the teeth of the squids, not only did it scare the living Nether out of me but my swimming pool is now an aquarium! There needs to be a block that prevents squids from spawning within a certain distance of that block, like a scarecrow kind of thing?

Well, maybe you should advertise your server more on the forums? For more admins to watch the server for you?
And I doubt it takes much programing knowledge to install a mod that prevents greifing. (Yet again, I maybe wrong, I have NEVER touched a server in my minecrafting life.)
Ugh, alright, I simply wanted to add something new and exciting to minecraft, but this has pretty much just turned into an argument between us. Nevermind.

Xfire doesnt support Minecraft yet, just get your friends to download Skype or some other IM.
And like Zombie-killaz said, maybe there well be a friends list, and possibly a better chat system.
