Maybe Edge of Space or Starbound? I don't think Starbound is on Steam, though I don't see why you'd restrict yourself to Steam anyway.

Might want to check out Starmade as well.
I just prefer steam, as I would get Cube World, my computer is not compatible.

That is a mod though, obsidian is techicly immune to explosions because no explosion can destroy it but in the code it's blast resistance is only 9,000
You CAN destroy it, it is only with SPC because you can't fit all that tnt into one place, so you need to do /explode. The blast resistance is high, but it CAN explode.

posted a message on A good low priced Co-op game
Hello people of the internet and so on. It's been a while since coming here on the gaming section. I want a good co-op game me and a friend or my brother can play together.

    Wants/Needs:
    • Must be on steam
    • 30$ under
    • RPG/sci-fi/made for co-op
    • Sandbox
    • Something like FTL
    • Must not be a FTP game that is practically a play to win
    • Not realm of the mad god
    • Will run well on a PC not made for gaming
    • I would LIKE an early alpha game, so the community is small and friendly and updates will come.
    • I know about Minecraft obviously, just something easier.
    • Borderlands 2 COULD work, but idk if it would run well.

Thank you, have a wonderful day :D

posted a message on How many of u like minecraft vanilla rather than a modded minecraft ?
    Quote from Aadvaki

This is a bit of a strange topic for me.

Mods obviously are used to 'enhance' the Minecraft experience, such as TreeCapitator making trees easier to chop down, or IndustrialCraft making better armor and better ways of gaining resources, etc., etc. However, Minecraft at its core is usually untouched by mods. TerraFirmaCraft is a mod that everybody with a pint of knowledge of the Minecraft community knows because it changes the core essentials of the game. RedPower made everybody look again at the wonders of redstone, BuildCraft and MFR introduced the concept of moving things around, and so on an so forth.

In mods nowadays (many of the FTB mods especially), like IC2, DartCraft, TC, they seem more focused on creating their own systems or simply ripping off what a mod did before. Now, why should this affect whether I want to play mods or not? Well, it's not fun to mess around with a mod if it's not anything new. Mods add so much to Minecraft, but admittedly there are only so many things you can do with them before it becomes uninteresting. Yes, I can build a T5 Soul Shard spawner trap, but there's no strategy to it, I really can't have fun with it. Now, in vanilla, you can experiment in a myriad of ways, inventing custom spawner traps. It is much more diverse than building some box in the ground and there's essentially no planning involved.

Now, some posts here have been talking about, "The Minecraft Way". Yes, it may be better for yourself if you chopped that tree down with an axe and a machine didn't, but which is more convenient? Mods make tedious practices more easy. Mods add new content to the game in the form of biomes, redstone mechinisms, etc. Does it mean they're more fun to play with? Well, in doing mundane things such as setting up that AE system, or getting that quarry running, no. But how about TNT Cannon wars using frame machines, or a team effort to take down a Hydra? Minecraft was made to be fun for consumers and profitable to producers, but it lacks many things that the developers can't just throw into the game. It's a fun game to be played in vanilla, but using mods for an enjoyable time is better.

tl;dr: Mods are more fun than vanilla, but I play vanilla only in survival and rarely in SMP, and vice versa for mods. Just what I find best.
Mods do enchance the game. But they are mods for a reason.

dont u like the freedom that comes with redpower ?!?! and the automation with buildcraft .?
It may be stuff like that, but it is not fitting AT ALL. I prefer vanilla, even on servers. Like no factions, NO PLUGINS AT ALL, it feels nice knowing you did this all 100% hard earned survival.

That wont work. Obsidian is immune to all explosions, with the exception of blue Wither skull projectiles.
Wrong. It just has a high blast resistance, and if you use single player commands and /explode, you can blow up bedrock with a high number.

posted a message on why does huskymudkips love tnt so much
There is a difference between loves and uses and 'loves'.
Sethbling uses (Possible loves redstone and does not create a big deal out of it, but is just very talented.
I love vanilla servers since they give a challenge and are 100% survival.
Husky 'loves' TNT so he can get more subscribers off of a youtube channel.
Sky 'loves' 'butter' or more specifically, less annoying, and correct-gold so he can get more views, a fanbase that can refer to him easily and other people would know what he is talking about, and a better general appearance.

Rant: Which HE may have (I don't agree with what I just said but some people might), but not his fanbase.

Rose Red. Is is supposed to be renamed "Poppy red" now?
OMG, THE EARTH WILL DIEE!!!!! HELP US MOJANG, KEEP THE ROOSEEEEE!!!

You realize it doesn't matter if it is named "Poppy red". It seems you are just coming up with lame excuses. It's like an alpha player saying..
"Is TNT supposed to be named 'Gunpowder TNT' now because it's not sulfur any more?"

Aaaahhh no. I downloaded it, but it won't run. I'm not the administrator of my computer, and there are a lot of things I can't do. Running extra applications that dig through my Application Support is one of those things. Thanks, but AMIDST can't help me out.
I could possibly do it for you if you wish? Just gimmie seed, might take some time though.

If you consider iron golem farms where they do spawn but they are not made by you, plenty, but if you mean like in villages, maybe like 2-3.
