If your thread fell back because of lack of posts, it's because people just weren't interested. You can either accept that, or try and post new information into the thread.
Well, it is just an opinion question. There really isn't new information to add, I just want to hear people's thoughts. So... I can't bump it or repost the thread? I understand not too many people may be interested, but I think I should be able to bump it once a day or something in case some people do.

Well, I made a post in the Survival general discussion section asking an opinion question, and no one has replied for a few days now. I would still like more opinions, but the thread is now somewhere around Page 8 and it is highly unlikely anyone will see it there. I believe it is against the rules for me to bump it? So... what would you like me to do?
SMP makes everything fun!
More people being around makes it so that when you build something, people APPRECIATE what you did, and if you find a server that is just starting, it can feel like you grow to know them, familiarizing yourself with the same areas, etc.
If I do ever find a groove in Minecraft, it will be in SMP. However, I don't know what to do in it. Spending hours collecting materials for a house then building it doesn't seem fun to me, as it is a virtual accomplishment that took little skill and took hours to make.
Sorry if any of this sounds mean. :biggrin.gif: I like strategy, and am a semi-competitive guy. Something that combines those would be nice, but I find it hard to get established on most PVP servers.

Hello everyone! I've had Minecraft for quite some time, but I've never really gotten into it. I haven't found anything to do in the game that holds a long-term appeal to me. So, I would just like to hear from you guys some suggestions that could make the game fun for me. :smile.gif: What do you guys do to enjoy Minecraft?
I've been browsing clans around the forum and this one is currently very appealing to me. Out of curiosity, how do you guys play together (i.e. What server? How do you meet up on the server?) and what is the primary thing you do? :smile.gif: Hope to learn more and possibly join this clan.
Hello everyone! I have been on the server a few times. I'm not sure if I want to join the server, as I'm not sure what I really want to do in Minecraft, but I have seen a few of you around and thought I should stop by. :smile.gif:

Basically, all of this is fun to read, but it seems to me like this is all hypothetical. Have wars on such a large scale actually taken place / still go on? And if so how do you become a part of it?
I have had the game since fall of last year, but I haven't even known the extent of the online scene until just recently. I'm basically looking to get myself instituted into it. I have joined some servers but don't really know what to do. I am PVP inclined, and war like this sounds fun. Any pointers on how you spend your time on Minecraft and enjoy it would be good to hear, too. :smile.gif:

Yeah, the above two things are the standard Minecraft ideals. Go find ore, craft it into fun stuff, hooray! I just don't find endlessly digging fun.
