This may be Known Problem #8. I missed the OS X part on first read, too.
The dual switching problem can be fixed without disabling that option, since Intel HD 3000 is a pretty alright GPU. You just need to install something called "gfxCardStatus" and tell it what you want to do at that moment, allowing you to save power if you're not plugged in. Also I messed up, I meant to write "It doesn't happen with Intel Graphics".
Disable threading optimization in your graphics control panel
Yes, I saw that on the front page. Is it referring to an internal Minecraft control panel in Video Settings or one on my OS, because my OS doesn't include one.
I hate to bother you since this is such a fantastic mod, but I'm experiencing an error. On about 75% of the time that I start up Minecraft I am presented with randomly unloading and reloading chunks, never closer to me than roughly 20 metres. It makes the game difficult to play and so I've had to revert to vanilla for now. I have no other mods installed. I have tried cycling through VSync and MaxFPS and practically every option I could find, but none of them seem to help. I have an Nvidia 330M with Mac OS 10.7.2. This does happen if I switch to Integrated Graphics, but they're so terrible that the game is barely playable, even with Optifine. Please have a look into why this may be happening.
Haven't tried it too much yet, I've been looking into modding so that I could lend a hand with this and also start a few projects of my own.
From what I have tried it's a very good mod. But for the Blaze tools with the rods as their heads there should probably be an intermediary device, because rods just seems silly. Possibly smelting blaze powder into an orange tinted ingot for the head of the tools?
How do you install it? I cant figure it out, I always can do this but Im just having trouble can someone tell me what to do with the mod folder? thanks :biggrin.gif:
Download a mod installation program, several exist, some that depends on your OS and some that are written in Java and don't.
this is just an idea but what about if your smelt blaze rods you make blaze ingots the you can make blaze armour if you put obsidian around one blaze ingot then that makes a shadow ingot then you make armour and tools with that and same with diamands but it makes oight blue blaze ingots or some kind of name like that i cant think of 1 short the shadow ingot armour will let you be in fire without being hurt and the diamond armour / liight blue blaze ingot armour will let you take no fall damage remmeber this is just ideas but i hope you put these in
Notch has done something odd recently which has made it so that people can't make armour without breaking all the other mods that make armour, you now have to edit a specific class. So modding armour is impractical at the moment.
Just making sure you know, minicoop2525. Those items that PixelTerror made are simply recoloured versions of the ones you can find in the Painterly Pack.
So, great mod and all but what about Blaze bows? They'd create flaming arrows that set mobs on fire (like the phoenix bow in the aether mod). Keep up the good work!
It asks for Growl's location at the end if Growl isn't installed. It doesn't pop a notification at the end if Growl is installed.
I uninstalled Growl to see if I had fixed that and for some reason it always prompts, no matter how I write the if statements, it seems to be a bug with AppleScripts and not just my script. Version 1.2 of Growl is still free and works on Lion perfectly.
Uploaded a newer new version, I got rid of a few unnecessary things and fixed a bug where it did stuff that caused the jar to not work properly (damn META-INF).
