I'm waiting too, in fact everybody is waiting right now including all the staff. Be patient please and just wait... not that hard. I understand this is highly frustrating right now and trust me I feel you. Complaining and bickering will accomplish nothing. In fact I was highly discouraged and disappointed when people starting complaining and directly throwing insults at me so I just stopped because nobody was appreciating any work.

Ok firstly, that was very rude and mean... you don't probably don't have a clue about what he has been doing since the server shut down. Secondly, Xgen is actually whitelisted to the server and added to the Staff Chat. He has been doing an amazing job helping prepare for launch and finalize last projects. The rest of the staff has agreed that we can trust Xgen as a new Moderator for the server. Xgen also has been spending countless hours working on something special and cool for the server.

Each branch takes 5,000 to begin

Leveling a specific branch will cost more the higher you go:

Level 1 -> 2: 15,000
Level 2 -> 3: 35,000
Level 3 -> 4: 70,000
Level 4 -> 5: 120,000

In total, a single branch will cost you 245,000

The progression is meant to be fulfilling yet long. If you want to complete the ENTIRE
mastery system, that would mean amassing up to 1,225,000 in-game currency.

Making money isn't meant to be fast and easy, so tackle your gameplay sessions in chunks.

If the progression and or branches become too tedious for you, you're allowed to
play in the survival world. There you can still earn money just by selling the resources you naturally get there!

You are also able to claim land (16x16 chunk) for 2,000.

You're able to invite multiple friends to said chunk and toggle your preferences!

Foul language is WELCOME, if you don't like what someone is saying - use /ignore <name>

Griefing in the Survival world is WELCOME-

The main goal of the server: To provide some people with a Minecraft server that offers
heavy progression gameplay. While allowing them into survival to take a break yet
still work towards some goal. These goals are not meant to be met within a given time period,
it is going to take some time. Granted, this server is sort of niche - it won't pander to
everyone's likes, but give it a try! Hopefully we can make this server a second home to enjoy.

Server is up. With this, I'm excited to announce that Galuzer is officially warden. We've needed a GMT warden for a while, and now we have one.

I understand that we're still within the first week of the reopening, however, I must say that I've found the server to be disappointing. I understand the lag is inevitable on the first couple of days, but there have been cases where average server ping is over 1,400,000 (Screenshot below).I feel that the lag is extreme and that it seriously needs to be fixed ASAP. The second issue I have is that Donor has become extremely overpriced, and I'm saying this as someone who has given $150 to the old Convicted as donations from myself and others. I understand that the server needs money to survive, however, I find it absurd that the price has gone from $40 lifetime to $35 every three months for the same perks. It needs to be remembered that the vast majority of the players are teenagers without jobs, many of which cannot legally work at their age, and that the monthly payments will keep several players from donating. I believe that it would be more reasonable to have additional sethomes and sign colors available at a set price for all sethomes and colors, and have it last forever at a cost of $15 for the sethomes and $10 for the colors. I also think that the Donor Block, name color and tag perks should be exclusively placed into one bundle and sold for $10 for three months, coming out to $40 each year, meaning that the server will be able to collect new income quarterly and have the new model become profitable over the old model in a year, helping deter a cash-grab scheme, which it honestly feels the server has devolved into at this point. At the very least, if Donor will remain so extremely overpriced, the quality of the hosting needs to improve tremendously.

Yes, the server is up. No, we're not letting non-staff members on. No, this does not mean the server is opening today. We're currently going through and checking everything to make sure the prison can actually function. Be patient guys

You guys can save your condolences for some other year, Convicted has gone gold and is currently being double checked for any bugs by the staff's coders. An official release date will be announced with in the next week or so with the server's release being shortly after that. In the meantime, we have prepared a trailer to showcase some of the revamped areas in the prison. Convicted will fully utilize updated 1.8 plugins to not only bring back the classic prison server everyone once loved, but to also introduce new gamemodes, improved events, and an overall better experience that just was not possible on the previous server. After the files were sent to Hex I basically had the same amount of knowledge as you guys. We sat around for weeks waiting for the occasional update from Viper and you guys sat around waiting for us. If it were up to me I'd share much more about what's going on with you guys to get you out of the dark, but that's what Penguii did and now everyone makes fun of her and is angry at the server for false promises. So, what do you guys want? We give you an estimate and you get angry, we do nothing and you get angry.

We're working on it. Just give us time. Complaining about the server not opening gets you nowhere. I'm upset that the server isn't open too guys but that's just life.

Actually cozy the only time people get mad is about a release date is when it is very unspecific and even then it doesn't work and the reason everyone is mad about not getting one is because we have played this server for like 3 years or more I don't know how long its been around I've played for like 3 years and then it goes down to be fixed and then it gets all hyped and the server would have been a huge success if it had opened on time but the people writing the plug ins got lazy or got confused idk which one but it was one and now its just gone downhill a lot of people who were going to play will not now and their are many people who will not be able to play I'm not downing you cozy this is just how it turned out no any one persons fault its just that a huge opportunity was missed and its sad to see that convicted will not thrive as it did once before

I disagree. Peng's my friend, but even so, I think she does a good job as an alpha. She isn't using her authority to seed false information. I think she was just misinformed somehow. Other alphas, not only her, have estimated the reopening, but they haven't got it quite right either because who even knows what still has to be done? Before the server shutdown, she was doing what she could to keep people playing. Not everyone could have worked on the server. She was trusted with the responsibility of being an AlphaGuard, so she was trusted in doing things for the new server building. She wasn't spreading lies purposefully, and why would she anyway?

Here are some of the new features you can look forward to on the new convicted.

Note that this is not EVERY feature that will be added. We still want you to find some on your own. Both the staff list and features are subject to change.

With this, I'd also like to add that we most likely won't be up in 3-4 days. There's no good estimate of how much longer it will take us to complete the server, and any estimation prior to this were false. Once we complete the server, we'll still have to wait on hexa to put up the server, which may take a few more days. Once this happens, we'll schedule a release date for a few days after, so we can give everyone a chance to get the first cells, plots, etc. Until we make a post announcing the official release date, no more estimations will be given. Sorry for any false hope created by previous estimations regarding the launch.
