Endergirl, only a few people who want to make redstone go upwards directly would use it. And to smelt it you need to first craft a nether reactor block. The recipe is same as from pre-0.12.1 PE. Otherwise, it is purely decorational.
I have a suggestion about new varities of quartz. To craft them, first you need to cook quartz in a furnace. After that use the cooked quartz to craft these.

We have mooshroom, so I think why not Baaton Shandy? (Baa+Cotton, Sheep+Candy)
There has to be a new biome for them, So I present to you, The Candy biome!
We have cotton candy trees, In orange, green, blue and pink colours. The floor is composed of material which is white and has pink grass like thingy on it. The main animals are Baaton Shandy in orange, green, blue and pink colours. The cotton candy on trees and stuff look smoother than wool. The wood for cotton candy trees is actually candy cane. The water turns into lemonade and lava becomes brown and yummy hot chocolate. You can drink a bucket of both in this biome, but hot chocolate burns you and heals you at same time. Lemonade helps you heal faster. As it would not be practical to have water change into lemonade as you enter this biome, New blocks of lemonade and hot chocolate are introduced. The Baaton's have very white face.
You can break Cotton candy blocks and get 4-5 Cotton candy. 9 cotton candy can becrafter into a cotton candy block. You can craft cotton candy using Sugar and Wool (Pink, Blue, Orange, Green). Breaking a cotton candy block increases a very small amount of your health (1/2 Heart).
I want redstone or the end (+ end city and ender dragon). If the end comes, I want wither and horses with them. We can wait for other pc only stuff. End, redstone and wither and horses are most required.
