posted a message on What was the worst way for you to run into a ravine?
On a server I used to play on, I lived next to one. There have been a couple of times where I am walking backwards for whatever reason, then fall in.

    Ravines are annoying sometimes.

    Quote from webrosc

Are you able to login to the official launcher or mojang.com ?

Is it just the technic launcher thats not allowing the new password, or everything?

Everything, technic's login are directly tied to the minecraft login servers.

posted a message on Password reset invalidates login information? (cannot login)
Alright so about three days ago, just before logging into technic, I decided to reset my Mojang password, due to the "heart-bleed" bug. I go through the usual process of clicking the link, receiving the e-mail, yadayadayada. Once I was finished I tried to login to technic, but It gave me the "invalid credentials" error.

After some research I figured out that technic's login service links to the minecraft servers. So I tried logging in to minecraft, only to get the same result. I thought maybe it was because my new password was not fully registered yet, so I decide to wait a few days and try again.

Here I am today and I still get the same problem, and after resetting my password a third time, I still keep getting the exact same problem it started out with, invalid credentials.

Maybe my account got stolen because of "heart-bleed", maybe Mojang's password reset system is not working properly.

This is pretty frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

No, don't buy it. Shadow the Hedgehog was my very first 3d sonic game, and I regret buying it to this very day.

Then why make a thread about it?

Because I like to rant about stuff, and there we're no discussion threads on it anyways. So I figured why not?

posted a message on Minecraft No Longer Officially Working With Oculus Rift
    Quote from Divinius

People have far too much of a "love/hate" view of Facebook, and gamers are typically in the "hate" category (and rightly so). That alone is going to stifle their success (Notch immediately jumping ship is a prime example), and that won't help them to be able to sell whatever they end up peddling.

EA has made some of the buggiest, and frustratingly glitchy games ever made, but those games still sell well.
Apple makes ridiculously overpriced electronic devices, that were made for possibly less than 10$ by some notorious company in china (Foxconn) that provided terrifying working conditions, yet those devices are still universally successful.
Microsoft has had sort of a control-freak/market-manipulation attitude with their OS's, yet they are still the biggest PC company in North America.

    What makes Facebook any different?

Oh, and there goes my plans of buying an Oculus rift headset in the near-future... thanks Facebook.

    Quote from PicklePackle

Well, Mario Kart Wii is the one I play the most, (Mostly because of WFC. I have no friends to play with...) so I guess it's my favorite...

Oh, and you forgot to add Super Circuit to the poll.

I think the Wii version is okay, but it can get frustrating at times. One thing in particular I don't like, is the overly child-friendly atmosphere. Never been too big a fan of the Mario Kart franchise, really.

I like the DS version the most I think, as I played it using download play once for the VS mode, which was pretty fun.

Oh and I added Super Circuit to the poll.

I saw that nobody has made a thread about Mario Kart yet, so I thought I would make one.

Anything from Mario Kart goes, from the exciting competition of Double Dash (which I have never played), to the painful challenges of rainbow road Wii.

Loved jungles in 1.2, hate them in 1.6+. At least jeb said he is working on it. Heck, we should be glad Mojang is even paying attention to issues like this at all.

posted a message on What was the dumbest thing you did as a new player?
Back on my first survival single-player world (now deleted) in beta 1.6 (Oh how times have changed), I wanted a very realistic staircase mine. I made it with a step one block down every 5 or so blocks. Needless to say I never even got remotely close to bedrock. That and I kept letting creepers blow up the area near my house, and another one would blow up each time I was filling in a hole with dirt.

Little did I know how easy creepers are to deal with.

posted a message on The most annoying songs you've heard.
What Does the Fox Say! By Ylvis

Almost every 1D song, not annoying, but very disappointing that they could not be more unoriginal. Best Song Ever IS just a remix of Baba O' Reilly by The Who, but with revamped lyrics. So they stole an epic song, made it look like their work, then called it the best song ever? That disgusts me...

Some overplayed songs by Katy Perry, like "Roar" for example, although a lot of her music is somewhat good, so I will give her that.

    Probably many others.

    Quote from Stellaria

One Direction songs are annoying. Justin Bieber also makes terrible music. Also, Hey Soul Sister or whatever it's called is getting old. Thrift Shop too.. I just want to destroy everything that dares to play that song.

I agree with you on one direction.

Justin Bieber, eh... He's been a jerk recently, but his music is actually better than most other mainstream music. I used to hate him and especially his "baby baby baby oh" song. Now I realize plenty of his songs are actually very catchy.

I used to think that "hey soul sister" song was mediocre, but now I think it's a catchy and beautiful song, and that it isn't all that bad.

Thrift shop is probably better than most hip-hop/rap songs, and I always think its a bit funny when the guy says "It was only 25 cents!!"...

TLDR: Yeah a lot of the newer music is annoying, but I got used to lots of it. So maybe you people should give it more of a chance as well.

Oh and... OPPAN GANGNAM STYLE! *starts doing gangnam style dance*
