You actually can't use this mod on a server without the plugin, just FYI.
I've used mods on multiplayer before though, but I think I understand what you are trying to say here.
This really should be a plugin though... -
Jul 18, 2013Pasta_power posted a message on Community Creations - Enchanting Plus! While I like the idea of getting to choose what enchants you get, IMO It's very OP, imagine if a group of players used this mod on a brand new faction/pvp server, surfed through the list numerous times, got sharpness 4, Fire Aspect 2, and Knockback 2 diamond swords for each person, then did the same for armor and tools. Fighting that faction would be impossible! Not only that, but PVP in minecraft is just plain frustrating, unbalanced, and involves little skill already! Good thing I don't play on PVP servers...Posted in: News
We need more plugins like this. -

Same here. So far, it looks like with the case of ORAS, there may be some things I don't like, and some things I do, but overall it looks very promising.
The soundtrack sounds arguably better than the original for the most part, but it seems to fall a bit short on others. Example Archie/Maxie's 30 second music sample from one of the leaks. Many a pokefans we're hoping they wouldn't techno-fy the gen 3 remakes' soundtracks, and this is pretty much true, but what do they do with Maxie/Archie? Surely enough, their themes got techno-fied...
I'm not too happy about that, especially considering that I think of the Maxie/Archie battle themes as one of the best battle themes in the franchise, if not THE best. But this remaster... Eh... I guess I'll have to wait for release though to see for myself though won't I?
Yes! Someone that actually agrees that the mega evolution gimmick is stupid! Thank you!
But let's be serious here. I think the problem with these so called "Mega evolutions" (which is not even an actual evolution btw, the name is a load of baloney), is that the concept is good, but the execution is most of the time downright terrible.
You have IMO, good megas such as this, which I favor, because the design is a simple, but cool change from the original.
These megas are few and far between
Then you have megas such as this, which are over-the-top, and half-goofy looking. Mewtwo, is one of my favorite legendaries btw, but I really dislike his fighting mega.
And finally, you have the ones that look just downright stupid. Such as this.
And I totally agree with you in that the fan ones are ironically better than the official ones.

It's fine. I've kind of gotten used to that stuff by now.

Let's just say it's one of those things that simply bothers me. I just find furries weird, it's like a cringe reaction. You know how every person has that one thing that really bothers them? For me, it's furries, well, more like anthro stuff, but you get the point...
I guess a very significant part of why this is the case is furry r34. Ever since I stumbled across it I haven't been the same since.

Wat... Da... Heck...? Is it normal that I laughed when he whacked the thing with his pole? That's officially the new most bizarre thing I've ever seen on the internet now...

You can find it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/off-topic/general-off-topic/2260514-oddest-thing-youve-come-across-on-the-internet

That's definitely one of the weirdest things I have seen on the internet to this very day, if not the weirdest.

Bro, I have been on what's probably over 100 minecraft servers throughout my time playing, and probably skimmed through forum topics/server listings of many times more. Let me say this: The no-swearing servers are EVERYWHERE! No, seriously, absolutely everywhere! I have probably skimmed through well over 1,000 server listings, here on the forums and other websites, and I can confidently state that over 90% of those had a no-swearing rule, or anti-profanity plugins, which is even worse because they can miss-interpret stuff/kick you for the wrong words.
I think I can safely say that the vast majority of servers have anti-swearing measures, or at least a significant percentage.
Care to go into a little more detail?

I mean seriously, the child-friendly aspect of multiplayer is already reinforced to oblivion. Why on minecraft would it be necessary to enforce it even further?
Just. Get out.

I don't get it. When jungles were introduced, they never affected performance in the slightest. Why are they so laggy now?

That's basically my stance on digital piracy. If it doesn't prevent your company from raking in profits, then let people pirate your stuff (digitally of course).

Same thing here, until I played pearl... Red was at least enjoyable despite it's many flaws, pearl on the other hand was the exact opposite.
While Diamond/Pearl may not be fundamentally broken, and not bad to the same degree Big Rigs/Sonic 06 is. Diamond/Pearl could be considered the result of many bad game design choices.
Remember a game called Simons Quest? Well think of Diamond/Pearl as the Simons Quest of the Pokemon franchise. Same general formula, but many small changes or additions that can ruin the experience for many.
Just like Simons Quest, a lot of people do enjoy Diamond/Pearl, but a lot of people don't as well, and it is arguably a bad game.
Oh, and by the way, big rigs, while fundamentally broken, can still be somewhat enjoyable. And to be fair, when it comes the the basics of video gaming, enjoyability is what matters most. If you cannot personally enjoy a game, then that pretty much makes it a bad game, to an individual that is.
In that sense, big rigs is, in a sense, a good game, because many people do enjoy it to some degree, despite it being beyond broken.
Also, just thought of pointing this out: Sonic 06 has many bugs and glitches that prevent the game from being enjoyed. Big Rigs does not.
Two completely different kinds of broken.
