This is Dalek Mod Update 38 for Minecraft 1.7.2 (1.7.10 version out in a few days!)Not too much has changed this update, however we have improved the Daleks alot more, they all now have much better clear amazing sound effects provided to us by the amazing Adam Walker, aswell as this all of the Daleks now have new Dalek spawn items instead of the old spawn eggs and we also have a brand new API which is still in the Beta process, the currently implemented version in the mod will only do the very very basics just while it is still being tweaked, the interface to create the Daleks will be out in a few days hopefully for people to test, however you can manually write dlk files at the moment and we may put a small tutorial up for this for the people who want to test it out before it's official release! Download 1.7.2
View Update Log Update video will be out in the next 1 - 3 days as well!
1WTC Question"
1) Is the cause of the crash quoted below, the same crash you where talking about fixing in your post #21,293 on page 1039 of this thread?
And
2) is the fix talked about in that post the same as the fix mentioned in the change log for update #38 that states "- Fixed Packet spawn crash"?
Or is this a different kind of crash entirely?

I'm not sure if anyone else has the problem but every time I spawn in a weeping angel it just comes up invisible...I don't crash or anything, the mob's model just doesn't show up. (This is the only mob that does this) Anyone have help?
You could always do what I did for the invisible Time War Daleks (rendering glitch), use the quiver bow mod to get yourself a Rocket Launcher and EXTERMINATE while re-designing your landscape
I have no idea If anyone had this problem / commented *AS IF I WANT TO RED 169 PAGES*, but my minecraft usually says,
"This furniture has not been added yet."
It happens with the toilet, presents, hedges, and sometimes the Christmas tree. Especially the couch!! Do you install more updates at once, or is it just because i downloaded it and it never had the config (AKA: .cfg) file??? Please tell me, I really like this mod and I want to place hedges
I don't mean to repost but now I see I forgot to mention I have 1.8 lol
1.8 is a development build. aka not everything has been added to it yet.
This problem was caused by an update in Forge (anything greater than 1232) creating problems with Optifine. The fix used to be to downgrade to Forge 1231 but Optifine recently updated to HD U B1 to fix the problem.
my game keeps crashing when trying to spawn an Invasion Dalek (took me a while to figure out which mod caused the crash, and which dalek crashed it.) and after the invasion dalek is in my world, i cant get in my world, it just keeps crashing. it invaded my world NOT like it's supposed to.
And, yes. i am using the latest version for 1.7.10 (downloaded from the SWD website)

there is one way that you can get back on your world, but you may not want to do it if you have alot of mod related blocks/items
what you need to do is log onto the world without the mod on, that will delete anything dalek mod related in the world, then you log back on with the mod and it should be solved.
[quote=Tumblr_cat;/members/Tumblr_cat;/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286606-the-dalek-mod-updated-24-12-14?comment=21534]
the comment above mine is something to be done only in case of emergency, as a first thing, try putting your world in peaceful
another wat to fix this , is to use a world editor like McEdit and go to the area where you spawned the mob and use McEdit to remove all entities in that area, that will remove all mobs if the peacefull option does not work.
Okay I love this mod and consider it a mandatory mod when playing. I usually play on 1.7.2 so everything works fine, however I am trying to upgrade to 1.8 and use this mod at the same time. I've got it installed and working properly, but when trying to place a regular table or couch (and possibly other items), I get the message that this item has not been added yet! Seriously, the couch and table are like 2 of the most important items in the whole mod, please I beg you update the mod with those items for 1.8
stop and think for a couple of seconds, the fact that 1.8 is in the development section with this printed on the download page should give you a clue. Warning: 1.8 version is buggy. Please use with caution and report any bugs you find.
This problem was caused by an update in Forge (anything greater than 1232) creating problems with Optifine. The fix used to be to downgrade to Forge 1231 but Optifinerecently updated to HD U B1 to fix the problem.
For some reason, the mod works well, with the one exception, the couches cannot have any color. In my testing I went to the creative inventory and found only the white couch for some reason.
Hi, i´ve got a problem. I updated some mods and when i start my world, it wrote something about missing blocks and items. Can it works without it or i must play with deleted items?
one or more of the mods you updated either removed an item, or changed an item name/ID. just load and run your world after backing up and look for what has changed.

1WTC has already addressed this isuue. See his post #21,293 on page 1039 of this thread.
This is an amazing game. But after spawning a spider in the tardis, it stopped working. Every time we try to play it crashes as says 'internal server error shutting down'. All worlds now don't work. Any ideas how to fix? The output is shown below. Thank you!

2 things
1 please use spoilers when posting a crash report, it is the little red button on the post toolbar.
2 I do not think hostile mobs are supposed to be able to spawn inside the Tardis, so there are 3 things I can think of that you may be able to try.
1) shift to peacefull mode and see if spider goes away.
2) use a world editor program like McEdit and remove the spider you spawned.
3) last resort and very drastic, is to remove the dalek mod, relaunch your game and loose all dalek mod items and mobs. then exit game and re-add the mod.
Hows your giant tardis still OK
Plus are those god knows how many upgrade does Cybermen will do still weak to golds
My Tardis needs some upgrades, do to updates to mods I used to decorate it. Ie new items available
As for Cybermen, I have no idea as there are not many on my world and I have not seen any in some time.

You could always do what I did for the invisible Time War Daleks (rendering glitch), use the quiver bow mod to get yourself a Rocket Launcher and EXTERMINATE while re-designing your landscape

1.8 is a development build. aka not everything has been added to it yet.
0
this has been mentioned before, here is the solution that was given
0
I guess those people do not know the meaning of the word development. I have always thought that it meant WIP
0
leave it as a zip file unopened and just put it as is into your mods folder.
another wat to fix this , is to use a world editor like McEdit and go to the area where you spawned the mob and use McEdit to remove all entities in that area, that will remove all mobs if the peacefull option does not work.
0
stop and think for a couple of seconds, the fact that 1.8 is in the development section with this printed on the download page should give you a clue.
Warning: 1.8 version is buggy. Please use with caution and report any bugs you find.

I searched back on this thread and found this answer on page 158, post # 3165. Hope it helps

right click couch with dye to change its color

the 1.8 version is under the development versions link on the download page.

one or more of the mods you updated either removed an item, or changed an item name/ID. just load and run your world after backing up and look for what has changed.

see the post directly above your post I just quoted.

1WTC has already addressed this isuue. See his post #21,293 on page 1039 of this thread.
