Really, Ping? That's the most immature insult you could have possibly chosen. And you two call FoE the immature ones?
But I would like to mimic Toasts feelings here. Remember, these are the only people who donated for the new server. The ONLY ones! In the span of a few days, they've helped the server expand more than all of the older players combined. And with the frequent lag problems, taking the factor of "too many players on a once for the server to properly handle" will help him pinpoint what the real problem might be.
So, you said you're booked this week, Toast? I'll be on at those times. Granted, your lunch break is close to midnight, for me. But I'm willing to stay on at that time every night this week just for all the people who decide to grow the f*uck up and accept that FoE is going to stay. And the new players, who shouldn't be tainted by hatred yet.
And guys? After rooting around the Support forums for a while, I noticed that other people have had materials stack above 64 without hacking. Through the eyes of someone with a clear head, it's obvious that those could just be glitches. I mean, the software hasn't even reached the Beta stage yet, so it might (shock and awe! [/sarcasm]) be full of bugs. That's all.

Me again..... After speaking to Jefffred05 , a member of the much hated FoE town. I didnt get a snapshot but I will quote "Toast likes what we're doing and we like what Toast is doing." I believe this is the reason for Toasts passive attitude towards the communities opinions on FoE. Jefff also confirmed they have not donated but plan too. For me and a lot of others this news is not good. It appears they will stay and the server will get so frustrating i'll have to leave. Until then Captain Algore out!

As for me, I've changed my perspective on FoE completely. I've spent some time in their vent, talking to Jeff, as well as listening to the rest of them. I think they are some nice people.
As to why everyone is mad at them, I don't know why. When you think about it, all they've done is just PvP it up, like Toast intended. They also got rid of mods for no, so that Toast can see who actually is fit to be a mod, and who is not. They will also be doing Toast a huge favor by upgrading the server (actually getting a new one).
If you've seen their reed farm, then you can see how they have so many golden apples. And they could buy more than enough cobble to build their castle.
Only thing I can't explain is the 122 torches. But Minecraft *is* in alpha, so it is still a possibility.

I'm not griefing anybody. You stood outside of the spawn looking AFK, so I killed you. I kill people when I see them in the wild most of the time. Then, you attacked me and Viddy three times, and we killed you. When you finally decided to just walk right past us, we let you go without hassling you. I don't want you to quit the game or leave the server. Go find a town, put items you're not willing to lose in a chest, etc. You already know this, so why try to spin things to make me the bad guy?
To Rickster: That guy you're claiming I was so mean to put a wall of slow sand at the spawn to keep people from being able to get out. There was 100% infallible protection on the spawn- nobody got spawn killed. At first he was talking like a newbie, asking why we would destroy his wall. Now he's running around with a diamond pickaxe cutting and digging a gaping chasm in the same location at the spawn there.
To Rasta- not sure who you are in-game, but I have died once in PvP where I lost my belongings- to Flec8 in his house. Congratulations to him on earning my gear. I've won probably close to 100 fights, though. I have a lot more gear than what I've ever had a chance to use. What Pingpong provided a screenshot of looting was a chest I set up last night with excess loot from our raid for our guys to regear and reequip quickly and get back in the fight. That's a small sampling of the gear we acquired last night alone from PvP.

Rickster, you can anything out of context look bad. That bobthebuilder guy was putting a wall of slow sand and dirt at the spawn, walling in the starter city. Yes, I was destroying it as he built it, in the same vein of thought that I put dirt over a bunch of those craters near the spawn city so that there wouldn't be gaping holes to be an eyesore right outside of the starter city.

I'm done with this server.I was here when it was started now it has a evolved into a pile of grief.Dupers and people that run around killing random players who don't want to fight go unnoticed.Until the server gets a massive re haul.I'm done with it.People should not be allowed to slay people if they don't want to fight.Its not fair that a well armed group of players can just charge around and kill people who are just building.It is not any different from griefing.Just done in a different way.
Bump for some added features. In progress of creating physical shops. The website is also in creation as well at toasttowns.clanteam.com. Unfortunately, the website is in terrible shape, but I started it yesterday.
Also an update to the mods: I removed the /tp command because, not only Paddster, but pingpong was also abusing that power. My decision is final, and only if the community themselves want to implement the /tp privileges, will I keep blocking it. Tell them to ingame mail me, and if I see enough mails about it, I will re-enable it.
