    Go ask on bukkit, they can help FOR SURE.

    What do you mean by ask on bukkit? That's not an actual place. I'm going to assume you mean their IRC channel.

    I have a glass of water that restores 2.5 hearts of health, but that is irrelevant. I have an empty glass, and a glass of water already made, but I need it so when I drink the filled water one, it puts an empty one in your hand, so it's like you only drank the water out. I can't find a solution for this and I was wondering if anybody could help me.

    I saw this piece of code in ItemBucket.java and I tried it, but it didn't work. :/ Here it is anyways:
    public ItemStack onItemRightClick(ItemStack itemstack, World world, EntityPlayer entityplayer)
        {
    		return new ItemStack(mod_Water.EmptyWater);
        }

    Thanks to anybody that can help!

    Yes, I found this interesting error in there:

    Yes, what grox said. Remake the image.

    EDIT: I thought I deserved a +1 on my post, but only harry got one :/

    I am sorry for bothering you guys so much, but I followed the instructions, but when I use my own textures, I can't get past the Mojang thing, it crashes. I tried to use blocks and stuff that are already in the terrain.png and items.png, but I then can't find them in game. Just a reminder, here is my newest version of code:

    package net.minecraft.src;

    import java.util.Random;

    public class mod_RedBerry extends BaseMod{

    	public mod_RedBerry(){

    		ModLoader.AddName(redBerry, "Red Berry");

    	}

    	public static final Item redBerry;

    		static{

    			redBerry = new ItemFood(200, 5, false).setIconIndex(ModLoader.addOverride("/gui/items.png", "/fieldz/RedBerry.png")).setItemName("redBerry");

    		}

    	public static final Block redBerryBush;

    		static{

    			redBerryBush = new BlockFlower(101, ModLoader.addOverride("/terrain.png", "/fieldz/RedBerryBush.png")).setHardness(0.5F).setResistance(2.0F).setBlockName("redBerryBush");

    		}

    		public void GenerateSurface(World world, Random random, int i, int j)
    		{

    			for(int k = 0; k <0.1; k++)
    			{
    				for(int k1 = 0; k1 <0.1; k1++)
    				{

    					int RandPosX = i + random.nextInt(16);
    					int RandPosY = random.nextInt(128);
    					int RandPosZ = j + random.nextInt(16);
    					(new WorldGenT()).generate(world, random, RandPosX, RandPosY, RandPosZ);

    				}
    			}

    		}

    	public String Version() {

    		return "v0.1";

    	}

    }

    package net.minecraft.src;

    public class ItemRedBerry extends Item{

    	private int healAmount;

    	protected ItemRedBerry(int i, int j) {

    		super(i);
    		healAmount = j;
    		maxStackSize = 4;

    	}

    	public ItemStack onItemRightClick(ItemStack itemstack, World world, EntityPlayer entityplayer){

    		itemstack.stackSize--;
    		entityplayer.heal(healAmount);
    		return itemstack;

    		return mod_RedBerry.redBerry.shiftedIndex;

    	}

    	public int quantityDropped(Random random){

    		return random.nextInt(2);

    	}

    }

    package net.minecraft.src;

    import java.util.Random;

    public class WorldGenT extends WorldGenerator{

    	public WorldGenT(){
    	}

    	public boolean generate(World world, Random random, int i, int j, int k) {

    		 for(int l = 0; l < 64; l++)
    	        {
    	            int i1 = (i + random.nextInt(8)) - random.nextInt(8);
    	            int j1 = (j + random.nextInt(4)) - random.nextInt(4);
    	            int k1 = (k + random.nextInt(8)) - random.nextInt(8);
    	            if(world.isAirBlock(i1, j1, k1) && ((BlockFlower)mod_RedBerry.redBerryBush).canBlockStay(world, i1, j1, k1))
    	            {
    	            	if(world.isAirBlock(i1, j1, k1) && (mod_RedBerry.redBerryBush).canBlockStay(world, i1, j1, k1));
    	            }
    	        }
    	      return true;
    	      }

    }

    I didn't read your code, but when you get past the mojang logo and it crashes, it's a ModLoader problem. Look at your ModLoader.txt in .minecraft and post it on here.

    It seems like the recompiling didn't succesfully work. Try recompiling and posting the errors to me :smile.gif:

    There were no recompiling errors lol. I fixed it though so it's all good.

    EDIT: There is one thing I need help with though. When I click the play button on eclipse, everything runs fine and then it says "/OreMod/Items/mithril/mithrilore.png" couldn't be found, when mithrilore.png is clearly there in temp, and in lib.

    I don't think it is worth releasing because it will just clog up the forums, unless there is more added to it.

    yeah, that's what I thought. Thanks for the feedback!

    I just started modding minecraft so I made a test mod that adds two new ores. The thing is, I spent a lot of time on it. It adds mithril and onyx. Mithril is between the quality of iron and diamond, and onyx is a lot better than diamond. Onyx is also extremely rare. You can make tools out of these and armor. Just like every single other ore mod. That's why I'm questioning on whether or not to release it. There's just too many ore mods! Is there anything I could add to it that you would like to see? Should I release it? Also, what would be a good name for it? If anybody could help that would be awesome! :biggrin.gif:

    Your problem doesn't really have anything to do with minecraft, but try restarting your computer.

    probs me being a noob again.. but how do you install a mod without having to modifiy the jar? because i know ur supposed to use a clean/modloader jar to decompile... so shouldn't i not do that? Or is there another place to do it?

    huh? i'm confused. You put ModLoader in a clean jar, decompile, and then when you're done modding you recompile then reobfuscate. After you reobfuscate go in the reobf folder and your files you modified will be there. Then take those files and put them into your jar.
