My deaths so far have been from:
Death 1: Walked a bit too close to the DEATH POTION spawner at the start of the Lush Ruins.
Death 2: Zistykin punched me off the edge into lava. Threw a pearl, but didn't hit anything in time.
Death 3: Well, in Zisteau's cavern in Intersection 3, I saw the TNT in the center house... and thought it would be fun to set it off. The cavern, along with me and my items, exploded into nothingness.
Haven't started the second half yet, so I imagine more deaths await me.
Also, screw your thornguards, Vechs.

I need help with this ban command. I'm not sure how to do a temporary ban.
The command is shown like this:
/ban [-seo] [-t end ] <target> [reason...]
I'm assuming the [-t end ] is where the arguments for a temporary ban go, but I'm not sure.
Can someone give me an example of a temporary ban with this command?

The only cavern I disliked was the red wool cavern. It wasn't hard exactly, it was just the endless amount of blazes and cave spiders. Regen pots and the diamond armor (including the prot5 chestplate) made it easy to live, but I couldn't get anything done with the hundreds of mobs swarming me. I ended up making a pillar to the roof and dropping onto the top of the tower. At the top, it was easy. Of course, annoying the hell out of people was probably the point.
The final dungeon was loads of fun, especially since I had the scythe. After running all over the place on the top floor killing monsters, I had a different idea. I took out my ender pearls, ran into the swarm of mobs, and threw it straight onto the wool box. Since I knew that ender pearling into iron bars puts you inside the block, I was completely safe after throwing it. That epic moment made the whole map worthwhile.
Great job on the map, I'll probably have to play your other map next.

Hope you finish it soon.

The map does work with 1.2.3, as far as I can tell. I haven't found any problems with it.

Thanks, Blue Long time no see.

Spaceship Battles is a Destroy the Core (DTC) PvP map designed for 8v8 - 16v16 players.
Both teams have two objectives. Both objectives must be completed to win.
1. Destroy the obsidian core of the enemy ship so that it leaks lava beneath the ship. Destroying the lava sources inside the core also counts as destroying the core. There are 3 total lava sources inside the core.
2. Destroy the enemy ship's antennas to cut of enemy communications. The antennas are made of redstone/lapis ore (redstone for red ship, lapis for blue). The antennas are destroyed when all of the ores are gone. TNT may be used to destroy the antennas.
Rules:
1. Players may not build over the spawn pools in the ships. Removing the water in the spawn pools is also not allowed.
2. Players may not build or fight in the spawn tunnels.
3. Team identification helmets must be worn at all times (Red: Gold Helmets, Blue: Chain Helmets). If there is a different method of team identification, helmets do not have to be used.
4. Players may NOT use buckets on lava.
5. Players may NOT destroy their own core or antennas.
6. Barricading the antennas and core is allowed.
7. Players may gather materials from their ship (Diamond blocks in the engines, and Iron blocks around the ship).
8. Each team must have equal players.
9. Players may not go through the enemy's spawn tunnel.
10. The objectives may be completed in any order.
11. Breaking blocks, blowing up TNT, and destroying enemy supplies is all allowed and recommended.
Tips:
-TNT Cannons can help your team immensely if used correctly.
-Engines are filled with TNT, disarming your own while destroying the enemy engines is a good strategy.
-Destroying enemy supplies can weaken the enemy team.

Reason?: No reason.
Shot him once with a fire bow. Jailed.
PvP abuse? Nope, in a PvP zone.
His response: "You're not supposed to have those kinds of items in a jail."
He didn't try to kill me, he simply said "Setting people on fire is not allowed."
I'd love to see where it says this in the rules.
He never tried to take the item away.
Bam. Jailed. Then he leaves the game, not trying to argue.
Demote.
Edit: Voltage and LoG argued with him as well, and unjailed me, while choc repeatedly jailed over and over, not listening to what the rules were. He raged at us quite a bit and insulted us >_>. So... this has made quite a mess.
DoubleEdit: Wrongly jailed for a third time, because choc didn't follow the new life rule, and claimed I was carrying a bow when I wasn't.

I'm going to rip my eyes out over this. There's so much color mod spam in the chat.

Also, could the rule "Killing a guard three times in a row will result in jail" be explained a little bit better? There's been way too much debate about it. Guards have been interpreting this in way too many different ways.
Ex: If a player kills a guard twice, and then the guard is killed by another player, does that reset the kill count?
Ex2: If a player kills a guard twice and is then jailed for a different reason, does that reset the kill count?

The only problems I have encountered were:
-The wiring above the falling gravel maze breaks when activated, but the maze still falls. This isn't a problem, because the spare redstone that falls cannot be used to help the player in any way.
