I have a question about screaming mushroom. Does it spawn mobs, or attract them? Because I was blown into pieces yesterday when creeper emerged in lighted area with 3 mushrooms.
This video from reddit reminded me of some cool mod I saw way back in 2013... THIS ONE
So yeah, I'm glad mod is alive and flourishing! I've watched some reviews on Youtube and read some info on off-site. Dude, you've done a great job!
And retrogen-feature? This is damn awesome, because it is rare gem in the caves of modding community
I have only one question - mod compatibility. Yes, I see that all machinery is RF-based which is cool. But can I use tanks from RailCraft to store gas in there? Will your pipes be recognized by tanks and vice versa? If there is a complete list of mod compatibility somewhere? 'cause I'm installing this mod tonigt anyway
So I've seen that you have 1.7.10 version of this mod. But, I cant see a "core" mod for this version, the one you made for 1.8 version. Is it required for 1.7.10?
ctm-Carpets are pretty rare between texture-packs. The only ones I know are from Conquest (good ones, but 32x and blurred to me) and from Diamond pack (x64, but too shiny)
I like where you're going with carpets, looks pretty good. As for making it as an addon.. I dont know, maybe? Sounds reasonable from customization point of view, for people who have difficulties with resource packs and texture managing.
But I'll repeat, that ctm-carpets are rare, so I think that this should be a feature, not addon
About wallpapers... Well, you're right. Asicar will be sad when he'll update to the new version of Pack So yes, I think wallpapers are better to be as an addon
I love all of the things you presented! Diamond/Emerald ores were my wanted things for a long time since stone texture got changed. Do they actually gleam on light? (no pun intended )
The new clock is interesting, but I gotta say - comprehensible compass is a rare thing you can find in texture-packs, and I'm glad that there is one in my one-love texture-pack
Random bookshelves are very interesting. Cant wait to make something with those. Actually I thought about making a little addon to bind those to specific metadatas, for decorating specific rooms/builds (just like it is done in MonsterFish's _Conquest texture pack)
Pistol is gorgeous, cant say less. Also, I think that crystalline redstone dust is pretty ok for vanilla. But how does it blend with redstone machinery? With comparator and delay-thing (cant remember correct word )
Optifine always worked well with your texture pack!
I started using it back in 1.4.7, to give my game a power-boost in form of FPS while having lots of mods. Then, I've done the same, but with vanilla - and it was good - all texture-pack things worked as they meant to work.
As far as I know, Optifine has all the features MCpatcher has, but it improves options section, giving you the powers of configuration. And it changes a rendering somehow to boost performance.
Glad to hear that you have the time to enjoy the creative process!
Well, friend, it is generally not allowed to share it somewhere as far as I know. The official place to get the pack is this forum branch. However you could give a link on your website for Glimmars original post here.
Waterfalls. I support the guy from above on this point, we need some kind of this, as it will look awesome Not just streams from mountains, but huge waterfalls
Whoa, you're the author of the original DeeperCaves idea! Man, you've done great job at making that idea! I had tons of fun exploring them. Actually, you should do that as well - Valiec2019 did very nice job making this mod.
But I advise you to get Ropes+ mod too -- those cave cliffs and ravines are no joke, you'll need some ropes to get down safely!
I agree with you only in point of Molten Iron. Anytithing else wll just ease your IC2/GregTech self-inflicted suffering. Yeah, that's how I call playing with those mods after 1.5 years of expirience with them.
I think that this mod is more about adventure, then resource reward
Density of one river with it's branches. Relative length of generic branch (no less than "x"). To make river systems much bigger and longer. Because for some reason I dont have decent-sized rivers in my RTG world, it is generally cave rivers. I do not complain though, cave-rivers are cool. But I would like to have more surface ones, and them to be longer and less curvy

No complains, though

So... boats are "hybrid'? Part muscle-driven, part - steam?
I like this, looks cool. And wharf, I like the wharf area

I support this. Some biomes/terrains look weird with naturally formed mosaics/plating

Is there a way to turn on 64x round leaves while having "fast" graphics set for leaves blocks?
