Anyway, I've been doing the Minecraft thang for a while now, it's just only now occurred to me that there's a place on the internet to talk Minecraft (and apparently some other random stuff, judging by this section). So I thought I'd create an account and be a coolio. I'm still working on the latter.
Build your first house - A few minutes. I just dug a hole in a cliff. Realize that minecraft has no objective - Wait, Minecraft has no objective? Find out what creepers do - I had a crater in the side of my house before the first night had ended. Figure out most of the crafting recipes without looking them up - I still haven't figured most of them out. Find diamond for the first time - It took an hour or two. I tried to mine it with a stone pickaxe, thinking that it just took a long time to mine. The disappointment was palpable. Learn that Notch's Real name is Markus Persson - Like a few months? I never have much interest in a game's development. Find that some people playing minecraft online are mean (griefers) - That was an expectation from the start. It's the internet. Get lost in a mine for the first time - First time I found a cave. You just keep going and forget the way back.
