Daft Punk is popular for their funky, modern disco style beats. I'm not a big fan of most of Daft Punk's songs, mainly because they get repetitive. I feel in the EDM culture, Daft Punk is mainly used in mash-ups as a funky beat to supplement something else.
My favorite song by them is slightly different from their normal style and frankly underrated.

I agree with your opinion, 'Lose yourself to dance' is really nice one, I can feel the disco
I'm not saying that RAM is bad, they just changed style and that doesn't bother me at all, but indeed I kinda prefer their old work as Discovery and Homework.
Anyway. lets get back to the topic
