You did not set Minecraft to use Java 8. When you open the launcher, there's an option next to the box displaying the active profile. It's called Edit Profile. Click that, and look for a textbox underneath the words "Java Target". The path there is currently pointing to where Java 6 is installed on your computer. Redirect it to where Java 8 is installed, and then exit the profile editor. Then launch Minecraft with the instance containing Malisis Doors, and you should be just fine.
And then he'll have to download the proper version of the mods, because I'm pretty sure it's trying to load 1.8+ versions with Minecraft 1.7.10
Hi Ordinastie, well I'm french so sorry for my bad english but I'm currently getting some troubleshot with your mod when i do the /malisisadvert command (I done it one time to charge one image and it worked (I crash after loading it but when i came back the image was here) and now it don't work anymore cus when i run the command /malisi advert my game crash so here are my logs :
can you help me to understand form here the problem is ?
The block mixer textures aren't blending properly or they are acting as if simple rendering is on when it isn't depending on whether fancy or fast graphics are used
if it is required I do have optifine installed
Left is fancy right is fast
(won't let me edit the post)
Does it still happen with only MalisisBlocks installed ?
It's on Smart Moving side. They assume the name of the PropertyDirection for the ladder to be "facing". They probably should be checking for any PropertyDirection.
Awesome mod! There is an annoying bug where the rusty ladders and invisible and the framing of most doors turn invisible. I'm wondering how to fix the bug. I'm using walia to figure out that the rusty ladders are invisible. I'm using the recommended forge, latest 1.7.10 malais' doors and core and still get this bug. Here is an image of the invisible framing:
I think it's a compatibility issue with Optifine's multi-threaded rendering. Check if it's activated.
Made a mod spotlight for the mod! One thing I would love to see is the ability to color code switches or tell them apart. This way a giant wall of buttons would be possible without signs. Love the simplicity of the mod though!!
Nice, thanks!
One thing though, there supposed to be a line between the switch and the linked positions. Are the shaders messing with it ?
I am not entirely sure what's going on. There's a pretty good chance this isn't your fault, because it started after an OS reinstall. Still, just in case you've seen this before...
That's a JVM crash, that I doubt I'm responsible for. Does it happen everytime ? I would suggest reinstalling Java, it will probably fix it.
Malisis Blocks is great, it adds a ton of new features that i can see myself incorporating into one of my survival worlds. One problem though, the block mixer doesn't work properly in my world. I tick the box and it creates two halves of the blocks put together to make one block, but when its untucked the blocks don't seem to work. i tried with an acacia wood plank and a spruce plank, and instead of fusing the textures, all it did was add one acacia side to the spruce, and thats all. I don't know if this is a bug in the mod or just my Minecraft or computer, but to me it doesn't seem like something that should happen. From all the mod showcases that I've seen it has never happened. Please help... I would add in some images to prove it but i don't know how to insert them. Anyway if you know whats going on please leave a reply or something..
If you're using fast graphics in Minecraft options, the Simple rendering will always be used for Mixed Blocks.

Angry kitty can't read
1.7.10-0.5.0 requires MalisisCore 1.7.10-0.14.1[/i][/b] for Minecraft 1.7.10
You need to update MalisisCore.

You downloaded the dev version of MalisisCore.

No, no sounds for the switch. I just took the texture. I used one of the sounds in MalisisDoors though.

You need to increase the memory for Java.
