If I ever chose to follow a religion it'd be Germanic Paganism. You know; Thor, Odin, Valhalla... All that good ****. Valhalla sounds like a much better place to spend eternity than Heaven.
Well he has also been mean to me and other people, so he MIGHT have a knife. If he does, he would get expelled.
He might be a ****, but does he seem like he has the capacity to kill someone with a knife? No reason to ruin the kid's life by getting him expelled over something harmless.
22. Been with my woman for 4 months now. Haven't had a girlfriend since I was 20 before this one though. Had my own place with a different girl from age 18-20. So, understandably, I didn't want to be in a relationship for awhile after that lol
I'm not too sure I want to be in one now, either, though; feels like I have no freedom.
I'm 22, but I'll try and give an perspective to you from someone who's out in the world.
1. Do you think bullying is a serious problem in your school or community? Why or why not?
It wasn't really a problem in my high school. We had 800 students in total. Of course there were assholes, and of course there were people who didn't stand up for themselves and got pushed around, but for the most part, high school life was civil for everyone.
2. How do you think bullies feel when they demean someone else?
I imagine it's much the same feeling you get from trolling... Awesome; a rush of power and dominance, as well as a laugh. A lot of the time though, they only do it for the acceptance of their friends, though.
3. Do you think it's possible to make a bully understand other people's feelings? Why or why not?
Yeah, if someone picks on them and harasses them they'll understand. Now that I'm at the point in my life where people are settling down into their careers and graduating college, I see a lot of the people who were assholes in high school out at the bars and clubs. What your parents tell you about those people who are popular in school losing all their friends when they grow up is absolutely true. I've had guys who I never talked to in school come up to me and ******** with me for hours now. Because they're lonely. I've never been bullied, but I know for sure a few of these people were mean to kids who didn't fit their definition of normal.
4. How do adults in your school or community address bullying? Have you seen adults look the other way? What kind of interventions have you seen adults use to prevent or stop bullying?
No one bullies other kids in front of someone who will disagree with them and has the power to actually stop them.
5. What kind of intervention can your people use to prevent or stop bullying? List three any amount of things you could do to defuse a bullying situation.
Force the bully and the victim to sit down and talk and get to know each other. Force them to try out each others hobbies and interests.
I'm not a child psychologist though.
6. Do you think you've ever bullied someone? If so, what made you stop? What made you want to bully someone again? (trolling doesn't count)
Unfortunately, I probably have to some small degree. I stopped because I didn't want to be a ****. I'm nice to everyone I meet now.
