    Simple request if it is possible to do: could you set a multiplier with in the config file for exp used. I am helping a server that like to play at a harder level, so even just a difficult level value would be nice.
    many thanks for your hard work on the mod.

    I have compiled a new 64-bit build for those of you who have 64-bit computers.
    This fixes some bugs...
    - "deepcopy" TileEntity bug fixed (can now edit chests, etc.)
    - chunk tool creates .mca files instead of .mcr on Anvil format worlds
    - internet connection no longer required to run MCEdit
    - new blocks available in the brush tool etc.
    - among other fixes

    You can get this new build here: https://github.com/d...4.win-amd64.zip

    EDIT: Silly me, testing blocks added in the Anvil update on a McRegion world. The new blocks work. Enjoy!

    I Love you soo much! no other word can describe the joy you have brought to me by making a 64bit version

    No it is not minecraft anymore it is a wannabe sandbox rpg. It will now have an end boss battle with out a quest or story to go lead up to it.

    If we want to play the game we'll have to live with it, Thankfully there maybe just enough die-hard-I-don't-care-what-is-changes Notch fans to keep it alive until the source code is released 8-16 years from now and the rest of us can get a game the lives up to why we got hook to minecraft in the first place.

    I have done my best to swallow the new sounds.. They are still driving me insane!

    Thats the most I am going to complain cause I know how ground in Mojang heels can get, but I will say this; I was showing minecraft to 3 friends who somewhat seen it before but wanted a second look before they bought... well Mojang lost 3 sales.

    I may cry for a day at the lost of being able to play the game, but I got skyrim to comfort me.

    well :Notch: thanks for the fun of the beta era! I guess the ride is over cause I know the Mojang team will not change there mind!

    I use lava walls to guard my structures.... they look pretty, light up the area and endermen can't touch those block. if the lava pours down in to a small pit and not allowed to flow over anything it doesn't produce sparks; just cap the tops of the lava fall so that won't make sparks. If you like hearing the mobs slaughter themselves the use iron bars or a one block high gap at head level on any other block guard you use. Mobs can see through flowing lava and will run to you if they see you through the lava.

    worldedit latest build fixes the single-player issues dev-build 408 ; please note this is a development build and not the release build.

    Just rename the file name it to worldedit.jar and drop it in you /bin folder! finally copy and paste that work right!

    Hey, i just got a little problem on using the newest version of WorldEdit. I use this giant dirt block for tinkering and experimenting on how to build traps and such. I was starting to run out of room, and decided to expand it out, as I had many times before. before updating, for some reason, my wand didn't seem to work in selecting blocks (the "//wand" command actually didn't even give me anything). I tried using "//hpos1" and "//hpos2," they worked, but when using the "//replace air dirt" command it said it replaced one block. I decided maybe it was a glitch, and I updated.

    The wand started working for selecting blocks, but now when I inupt the "//replace air dirt" command, it comes up with this:

    Help?

    EDIT: I went to the Single Player Commands page, redownloaded the new version of SPC, replaced the 4.7 version of WorldEdit with the 4.6 one that comes with it, and now it works PERFECTLY. Thanks anyway.

    Problem is I nick-name 4.6 the Picasso editions cause copy and paste is screwy with some blocks; but is fixed in 4.7+ but which only can be used by bukkit servers.
    is it because of java 7 or something?

    I cant use it! It just sais:

    Please report this error: [See console]
    java.lang.AbstractMethosError: com.sk89q.worldedit.LocalWorld.
    checkLoadedChunk(Lcom/sk891/worldedit/Vector;)V

    I get the same problem if I use anything higher then 4.6

    I just wish I knew why 4.7 and 4.8 won't work in single player mode. but on bukkit it works like a dream.
    Can anyone help??

    posted a message on 1.9 Updates: Endermen Revised?
    Endermen are like termites, chewing your home to shreds if you don't watch over your building! It is bad enough that I have to flood my projects with unsightly torches now I need moats that may or may not catch them all!

    my suggestion is make ender pearls used to forge special block that are used with gold(blocks) to make a single 'Home-stone that is used to shield your main location by warding off hostel mob by repelling them to turn around and leave. and ender pearls are used to recharge it and make it so the player can only activate one Home-stone at a time, this prevents abuse.

    Quote from Badprenup

    Interesting idea, but as far as difficulty suggestions go, the Custom Difficulty thread holds my support. It let's you set the spawn rate of all mobs, as well as many more options. It could be adapted to work in server settings as well.

    http://www.minecraft...tom-difficulty/

    I am kinda for both after look at the link. If it was server mod. but my suggestion is for the core server software. I don't think notch will bite on too much customization right now; after all, Vanilla servers software only have 2 setting for difficulty - peaceful and hard; which is kinda dumb if you have a "spawn-monsters=true" setting... sort of redundant if you think about it. :rolleyes:

    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:
    I think too much variability with customization must mean huge testing times aka long release dates.

    posted a message on Fix SMP 1.8 server difficulty setting -- PLEASEEEE!!!!
    first off I'd like to say; I know some people love games to be psychotically hard without much variation. Hopefully the people at Mojang aren't like that. If you would please listen to my recommendation this is what I'd recommend:

    difficulty=1
    at light level <5 -- max spawn for 40x40x10 block area is 1-3 skeletons/spider/zombies with a 5% chance of a creeper and 5% chance of a endermen

    difficulty=2
    at light level <5 -- max spawn for 40x40x10 block area is 2-5 skeletons/spider/zombies with a 10% chance of a creeper and 5% chance of a endermen

    difficulty=3
    at light level <5 -- max spawn for 40x40x10 block area is 4-9 skeletons/spider/zombies with a 20% chance of 1-3 creepers and 10% chance of 1-2 endermen

    difficulty=4
    at light level <5 -- max spawn for 40x40x10 block area is 5-12 skeletons/spider/zombies with a 30% chance of 2-4 creeper and 10% chance of 1-4 endermen

    :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar:
    I am not an elite player and feel restricted to single player games or servers with out monsters; which sucks!
    :) :) :) :) :)
    please think about it?
