Asking a friend to ask him would be useless because he knows I'm trying to find out.

Actually, I don't get to see him that much anymore.
You see, it's currently summer here and "hanging out" is pretty uncommon here. There are tons of rapists/pedophiles/muggers/murderers out there. Simply walking by yourself to another area is dangerous. I've only seen him once this summer, really, and that's when that happened.
School is going to get in the way of my plans. I certainly can't ask him out during the first day, as it'd be awkward. And another thing, I may actually need to study in this school. In my old school, simply staying awake guaranteed good-ish grades. And because I have to study, I have almost no extra time for him. Well maybe I should remove Minecraft and free a couple hours, eh?
If they are smart why the hell would they start bullying? Doesn't sound too smart to me...
Who knows. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Also, on the topic of poverty in this country. Yes, the average Pinoy lives in poverty. Here there is a huge margin between the middle and lower class.
Also for the "he's going to high school" thing, this high school is actually a government-run school. What makes it special that is is under the Department of Science and Technology, which means it is a school for kids with abilities in science and technology. When you graduate, you are given a choice. You can choose a science-related course and not pay a dime, or pick a non-science-related course and be forced to pay the school what it thinks the scholarship is worth. Also, did I mention that they only take 240 kids out of the 21,000 that took the exam?
Philippine Science High School. Google it. It takes the top 240 kids out of the 21,000 kids who take the exam.
Also, yes, I'll admit I was exaggerating a bit with the whole "perfect murder" thing. But yeah, the kids over there are pretty damn smart. It's their second year and they're already using college-grade books.
Jared walked into my room, and immediately noticed a pink giraffe sitting on a stack of books. "Juan, what is that?" He asked, timidly. "Oh, that's the plush toy Danna gave me for my birthday." I replied, acting normally. Jared chuckled a bit and looked me in the eyes and jokingly teased me about that giraffe.
Jared knew I was gay, and he knew I liked him. He didn't really care that much, but he always uses "gay" as a term to define something dumb, and/or stupid. And because of that, I give him a weak punch remind him of something.
I invited Jared to play Counter Strike, but since we only had one computer that had Counter Strike, I let him use it while I watched. He was quite serious when he played, he never failed to give off a sound that sounded half like a pig, half like a child whenever he killed someone or call that bot that just killed him gay, which I followed up with a punch to his arm. Somehow I suspected he was gay. He calls everyone gay. Gay this, gay that. Your mom is gay, your dad is gay. It was pretty annoying. Sometimes I wonder why I like him so much, then I remembered that I just do. It's that feeling of oneness when I'm with him, that I never feel when I'm with anyone else.
My moment was interrupted when he told me I was hugging him. I apologized and let go.
After a few rounds, he got bored and I asked him if he wanted to play Black Ops. He happily let go of the computer mouse and went into my room. I switched the PS3 on, and inserted the Black Ops disc. I had a plan for this specific situation. I would let him sit between my legs, and I would teach him the controls. Every time he dies, I would hold his hands and tell him what he's doing wrong. I carried out the plan perfectly. Luckily for me, he died in-game quite a few times before he got the hang of it, so I had a ton of excuses to hold his hands. Soon enough, he was playing like a pro.
I told him I would get the other controller so we could play together. So here's how we were set-up. One big chair, and I was sitting there, with him in the middle, between my legs. I would put my arms around him so I could hold the controller, while I peeked at the screen from his side. It was pretty perfect because I had a lot of opportunities to "accidentally" hug him.
After a few matches of team deathmatch, I set the controller down and decided to watch him play. He was now racking up a nice killstreak, but it was ended when a sniper shot him. He was disheartened because he almost got to the last killstreak reward. So I decided to give him a nice, warm hug. He acknowledged it and smiled back at me.
Most of this is true. And for all those "OMG PEDO!" guys out there, I'm 12, he's 12.
No, no, you guys don't understand. Most of the kids in the entire freaking school have an IQ of at least 130.
If one of them wanted to commit the perfect murder, believe me, they are 100% capable. They all rely on brains, rather than brawns. So I need help protecting myself from people bullying me psychologically. Guys who seem friendly, but only want your spot on that golden list.
So, yeah, a school of kids smart enough to use chemicals, rather than a knife.
