Ironfungus told me about your project and I'm more than interested in helping out. I think he's going to talk to you when he has a bit of free time, but I thought I'd ask you to add me to the whitelist here as well.
I'd also like to get into Mumble as soon as possible so I can introduce myself and talk about the server with you.
If your name is not on this list, then your application was missing something important. Please go back and re-read the rules, then re-post your application. (DO NOT EDIT YOUR POST OR I WILL NOT SEE IT)
Thanks,
-Orepheu
You spelled my name wrong. This leads me to believe you entered it into the whitelist wrong as well. Can you please check this?
In Game Name: OmarianVolcae
Age: 18
Did you read the Rules?: Yes &4
Why would you like to join us?: I don't currently have a minecraft server to call home and my buddy Antimy plays here.
edit: I've found an annoying issue already. For some reason I get the "windows cannot complete this action" sound every time I press a key. You know that bell that plays when you try to backspace in an empty field. It's really irritating.
I would definitely play it. It's really cheap at $10 and it was like a breath of fresh air in my opinion. You'll see a lot of similarities to minecraft, but you'll realize quickly that it's a completely different feel.
Don't expect to be playing it for long time. The game is pretty well polished and a lot of fun, but the initial appeal wears of once you exhaust all of the content. It took me about a week and a half to do this and after that, I realized that it's not as conductive to creative energies as minecraft is. The 3rd dimension is surprisingly liberating for a creative mind.
That being said, there are supposed to be many updates coming for the game and just because it's not a long term play, doesn't mean you won't pick it up again and have just as much fun after each update.
tl;dr: You'll get bored after a while. Still worth buying, lots of fun.
Account name: OmarianVolcae
How long have you been playing Minecraft: uuuuh... No idea. I bought the game before /infdev/ came out so I think it's been at least a year?
How much multiplayer experience do you have: I've been playing multiplayer minecraft since before I bought an account.
