Bombzen, for using EnchantView on servers, you only need the client mod in your minecraft.jar and the plugin loaded in Bukkit, right? Added the Bukkit plugin and put the client mod in, but the tables still won't reveal their secrets to me. Is there some command I need to allow it, or a hotkey I'm not seeing in this thread?

I really wanna know how he had so much grass everywhere, animated grass/leaves, and that awesome weeping willow. (That is, assuming he didn't build that part)

I like roguelike's too, so long as this isn't forced upon us by replacing survival. If we have a choice between survival and adventure I'm perfectly fine with this.

The only problem with that argument is there are already a ton of tools for people to do just that. With all the editing tools, we've been able to do something akin to what I'd like to see, but I'd rather it be in an official capacity. Yeah, people could spawn a million diamonds for themselves, but then what's the point of playing survival? It's the same thing that yeah, you COULD just dig through all the walls in someone's created dungeon to get to the goodies at the end, but why bother, the point is to see if you can survive the dungeon.

This is something the community is already doing, but what I'd really like to see is an actual ingame toolset to do this. As in:
[*:399vw8rw]The executable version lets us pick between Creative and Survival. Which would allow us to load the same level in creative or survival for testing with no hassle.
[*:399vw8rw]New save system for easier distrobution and file naming (This is already going through, but needed)
[*:399vw8rw]Availability of all blocks in creative, including leaves/water/spawners/all craftables in Creative
[*:399vw8rw]Control of settings like spawn points, and special secondary attributes like lock Night time

I realize some of this may be redundant with what people have already asked for, but this was just may attempt at putting some more scepifications to it and the logic behind it. Imagine being able to make fun, giant labyrinthine dungeons full of booby traps and rewards for players to tackle and enjoy. I used to use my Lego to play D&D with my friends, setting up castles, caves and forts for them to wander about. What better way to bring that back than in Minecraft?

    Opinions, counter arguements, burning sensations?
