    Dragons usually represent destruction. But the Aether is suppose to be a heavenly place (if I interpreted it the way GreyAcumen had in mind).

    Besides, I think we could be a little more original than dragons. I'm sure Firehazurd could think of something cool and new if there were guardians to be added.

    Will the bedrock-type of block be clouds or will you be able to fall to your death if you dig down far enough?

    While I agree with the 50 or so people that suggested Lightstone for the portal when it's already been decided, I think to activate the portal should be a little more difficult.

    For example:

    Kill a ghast and it will drop 0-2 Helium Concentrate (these give the ghast the ability to float).
    Once the Helium Concentrate is collected (you'll need 2 to activate the portal; so you'll have to kill 1-2 ghasts), you then have to toss the concentrate into the 2 fires you placed into the Lightstone portal for the portal to be useable!

    or, if you want water to activate the portal...

    Use the crafting bench to combine a bucket of water with the Helium Concentrate.

    I'm lovin the Ogres, Zhark; except for the fact it destroyed my whole base once it stumbled upon it. :SSSS:

    Keep up the good work and I'm very excited to see what you'll be adding to the Minecraft world after horses. :iapprove:

    First off: Forgive me if something similar has already been suggested or even implemented. 800+ results for the word chest in the search function is a lot to filter through. :Pig:

    Continuing on to my request, I would like to see more options for chests. Right now, as of what I know, there is a Chest Protection mod or two that lock your wooden chest some way.

    But, I would prefer wooden chests staying completely vulnerable to anyone and anything and then having the option to use more valuable resources for higher protection.

    There are 2 ways I can think of that this can be achieved.

    #1. Encasing Chests
    // You can strengthen and protect your existing chest by encasing it in various materials. (Or even disguising your chest!)

    A.) Encasing the chest in Iron
    // This chest would be protected from Creepers and other explosions. But still vulnerable to other players.
    Crafting:

    All icons symbolize what they are. Chest being wooden.

    B.) Encasing the chest in Diamond

    #2. Making iron and diamond chests from scratch

    Iron chest has a PIN #. Diamond chest is exclusive to being only accessible by the player who placed it.

    Before moving the iron chest by breaking it, the PIN # must be entered.
    Only the player that placed the diamond chest can break it.

    The crafting "blueprints" would be the same as regular chest but with the respective material in place of the wood.

    (The iron chest "blueprint" could optionally require a :GoldBar: in the center to symbolize a lock. Or have a craftable lock, too.)

    I was just about to suggest a mob that destroys blocks and you've already started developing one! Nice!

    Questions about the ogre.
    •How rapidly does it destroy blocks?

    •What are its aggressive tendencies? (e.g. attack only if provoked)

    Suggestions for the ogre. (to be implemented later if you like them)
    •Ogres should pick up the blocks they destroy//and (maybe) drop the blocks when they are killed.

    •The player should be able to become friendly with the ogre (unless its been attacked beforehand or you attacked it while it was friendly) by giving it flowers or maybe food or something.



    Other than that, all I have to say is good work. I'm glad you put your talented mind to this idea. :iapprove:
