posted a message on VoxelMap [1.16.1 to 1.7.10] - a minimap and worldmap
    Quote from MamiyaOtaru»

an error happened during initialization of VoxelMap. When Liteloader tries to call it later it gets a null pointer exception, since VoxelMap isn't there. The actual error that caused VoxelMap to fail to load happened earlier. I'd need to see the full game output, not just the crash log.

*EDIT* tried loading flux and VoxelMap at the same time, same result as you. In my game output, the relevant bit was

That might mean more to the Flux developer. It's happening on spawning an Entity with a null world. That entity (used to draw waypoints) is quickly replaced by an Entity that is spawned in the current world, and is only there to catch a corner case where a deathpoint was being added before a world loaded.

So I can try to not create one without a World (to use before the player enters a world), and hope I don't run into a NullPointerException when a deathpoint or something tries to add itself to the waypoint Entity. Or the Flux maintainer can figure out why an Entity that is initialized with a null world causes a crash with his mod and no other ones. Ideally, I can prevent my NPE *AND* he can fix his NPE.

Thank you for the input! I relayed the information to the issue and I believe he applied your suggestion.

    posted a message on ~DecoCraft 2.4.1!!~ Decorations for Minecraft! Updated to 1.11.2 !!! ~DecoCraft 2.4.1!!~
    Quote from Elesis»

Hi, thanks for making this mod for 1.11.2!
I have just installed the 1.11.2 version of Decocraft and tested it out in singleplayer where it works perfectly. However on the multiplayer survival server where my friend and I play on we've experienced a few issues such as some items looking brighter at certain angles and items with transparent areas that turn black e.g. clothesline, canopy bed, lanterns. We have done the change to PTRModelLib.cfg but it hasn't changed anything. Both of us are using a resource pack and another mod, but these problems do not happen in singleplayer. The beds also seem to not be working.
Any suggestions to solve these issues? Thanks

Mine didn't even generate the PTRModeLib.cfg for 1.11.2.

Run a virus scan and if you inadvertently deleted Minecraft files you should be able to restore them from the recyling bin unless you already emptied it.

posted a message on firewall blocking portforwarding

If you are using a router you need to open the ports and forward traffic to the computer that will be the server in the router.

Also, if it is a Netgear router make sure you enable UPnP or only one connection at a time can be made.

You shouldn't have had to delete everything since your issue started when you change the java location to an invalid one. You just needed to uncheck Java executable or put in correct path.

Which Java location are you using? You should be able to unclick or shade out the Java location and it will use the launcher installed version automatically or act like you are creating a new version and check the java version box to unshade it and copy the default location for the one you are having issues with.

    Try this:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_121\bin\javaw.exe

or this if you have 64bit Java installed:

    C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_121\bin\javaw.exe

    @MamiyaOtaru

I had a weird issue with Minecraft-Flux and reported an issue there. If it is possible can you take a look at the issue there? The mod author claims it has something to do on your end but when I remove Minecraft-Flux I have no issues with about 90 mods; go figure; but I did state I would inform you. Thank you for your consideration and thank you for your mods; Minecraft simply wouldn't be the same without them!

posted a message on [Solved] Sagemcom Portforwarding help

Remember, now that you opened the ports and the server works you still need to assign the internal IP address to the computer otherwise the router may assign a different IP to the computer hosting the server at next log on. You should have opened the ports on only the designated IP and if the server IP changes at log on the server will not work. Doing it this way ensures no issues or having to update the servers IP in the port forwarding often.

You description of the issue is quite vague to be honest. Does the server start and if not what error or crash do you get? If the server starts, can you connect via the local IP? Are you giving your friends the external IP address to connect?

To get your external IP go to google.com and search my IP or go to:

    http://www.whatsmyip.org/

To verify your port you can use:

    http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

    or

    http://www.canyouseeme.org/

Be sure to use your external IP that you obtained from google or whatsmyip. Make sure you leave you IP blank in your server properties. If you are unfamilar with running a server you can use this server frontend which is just a GUI that acts like a launcher which allows you to see what is actually occurring with your server and also provides many tools for server operation. You can adjust memory via sliders, op and deop, make server backups, and etc.. You just download the file and place into your server folder where the server jar is located and use this program to start your server. You can find it here:

    http://get.bertware.net/detail/BukkitGUI

I have enclosed pictures of what the program looks like. It can run forge, minecraft, bukkit, and spigot jars.
