Sarcasm aside, I really think you should rewrite your post and remove the huge amount of 'yogascast' and 'yoglabs' As anyone who could actually pull off the building you want will likely be deterred by those statements. My personal opinion, at least.
You can replace all the sounds and textures with what you want. Resource packs, dude.Do you really want a simple game? I mean, really.
You can also reset MC to 1.0.0 or 1.1 simply by editing your 'profile' in the new launcher. Nifty, eh? I've played Terraria, and I don't see what would be wrong about MC being a fps of it. Besides, MC will ultimately have a different set of game-play rules that won't be like Terraria.
But beyond all of that, you really cannot complain that the developers are making their game the way they want. More so when they set it up in such a way you get to choose how to play the game. It is easily modded, you can change the aesthetics with resource packs, and you can flip through their versions. It's like a opensource game, yet it doesn't have to if you don't want it. <3
TLDR;
The game is easy to make however you want, so you can keep your opinion and play how you want.
First I thought it was a 2D game. then I played it at a friends house. Then I watched a Let's Play of it. Then I gave 22 $1 bills to my friend who bought me a key.

That is why you see so many on any forum thread, no matter the game. And also why the poster never has anything so much as a good reputation with the forums or game itself.
To support the poster a little bit, before someone makes him cry, i think he actually is a bt right. I mean, to say he ruined it is not fair and absolutly not right. But, in my opinion, the minecraft feeling is gone, from the old days. Just he mods are making me playing this game. I also think that notch's work was a bit better. New features these days are very ressource intensive and not well coded. But the idead are great and the new stuff, too. Its an absolutly pain in the to make a mod these days. So, its kinda right to say that notch has done better work, but that has nothing to do with the content. Pls be friendly with your storm.

But, the issue is, that feeling becomes very....well, it begins to stretch itself. You could only go so far with each version, and I look forward to being able to go beyond the current limits.
Mods are hard to make if you don't understand the ins and outs of code. Though, I haven't quite learned how to install mods with the new launcher effectively.
Now, to say Notch had better work done then Jeb? Complete BS. Saying something like that is so drenched in opinion, it is ridiculous. Did they both create the same additions to minecraft? One or two times. They add different things to the game, though slightly similar in that they add to the game. Think of this as 'One guy added some red paint to the picture, another added orange paint'. Within that analogy, we can use the phrase 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' to show that it becomes opinion of which is better.

This server is quite nice. It has, of yet, bee a very enjoyable experience. I was able to claim a mountain, and collect the materials needed to build upon it.

Strentghs and Weaknesses of Minecraft (Building, Redstone Etc...) - Lack of patience for building (Sort of), decent at building and redstone.
I'd like to bring up a little point; Steam has the ability to change your name at anytime, but the username never changes. Same case could happen here, and perhaps there could be a command like /name (nameofplayer) and it'd show the username.

Basically, they won't let you log into the launcher which results in being unable to open the game. Which can be illegally bypassed. Don't do it.
Otherwise, they will only revoke for more extreme reasons then servers would ban for most of the time.

The only fix I can think of is to update a driver or buy a new GPU (Graphics card).

If you need a new card, I'm afraid I can't quite help you there. Someone else or a quick Google search should help you find a card that will work.
