No, I can change the skin fine, but they deleted the custom skin when they updated the servers, then told me it was back, but it wasn't. I don't have a backup of that skin due to a HD failure (I made it back in 2010 or 2011) so I was hoping they could actually reinstate it like they said they would.

posted a message on Missing Skin
Back on April 10th I logged into a friend's Minecraft server after having not played for a while and noticed that my skin was the default Steve instead of the one I made. After going in circles many times through the "help" links on the Mojang site, I finally found a way to contact tech support via e-mail. I sent them an email explaining the situation. I did get a replay the next day saying they think they fixed it and hope it works now. I checked ad it was all the same, I emailed back saying that it was not in fact fixed. I got very busy so only now realized it has been two weeks and I never got another response. I also made the possibly stupid mistake of uploading a different custom skin simply because I really hate playing as a guy. Only after I uploaded it did I think that it's possibly an issue. I attempted to navigate the help section again today, and could only find a way to contact them about billing issues.

What should I do next? Has it been too long? Is my skin gone forever?

Ocelots - I'm going to go with tigers, but if anybody knows of a cat-related animal that lives in jungles like Minecraft I'll consider that instead.

Ocelots are native to the jungles near the caribbean sea. The leopard cat and fishingcat look similar to the ocelot ( in simplified graphics) and live in India and Asia.

posted a message on Photoshop texture templates for Minecraft v.1.2_02 Update
Unfortunatly when I try to open these in my photoshop, it says it cannot open the files due to a program error. This only happens with these files. I tried redownloading them, but that didn't help. I don't know if they are corrupt or there is some other issue. I was really looking forward to using these, too.
