    I've been looking for a mod that added disenchanting features, and I'm aware of a lot of the bigger mods out there, so I know that there are two that already do this:


    Draconic Evolution, which also adds a bunch of endgame content that is so ridiculously overpowered in comparison with the rest of the game and even most other mods in general that it throws any game balance that doesn't pertain to itself out the window, and


    MineFactory Reloaded, which also adds a bunch of autoblocks that, while in some cases are similar to blocks already added by other mods, also use 'machines' to justify the ability to automate actions that most other mods require multi-block systems to use, robbing me of the logistical joy I would get from masterminding a true mechanical marvel.


    So, for a long time, I thought my options for disenchanting were: Draconic Overpower, MineFactory Self-player, or nothing at all. All I want is this block. And you've made it! Thank you so much for this fantastic mod! It's only what I wanted and it doesn't overreach its scope, and the balance you have in it already is quite admirable. I will not be playing without this mod anytime soon!

    Hello, HyperNerd. I've just stumbled on this mod yesterday, and had to compliment you on it! While it might seem I'm in no place to as I haven't even tried it yet (I DO INTEND TO), what I wanted to thank you for is making a mod simple. All too often, scanning through mods I want to try, it will add one thing I like, and then EVERY POSSIBLE VARIATION of the item. Take for instance a fishing mod that finally adds some variety to fishing, but then adds nether fishing rods and demon fish and fishing machines.

    Your mod. I think, "gee, lanterns are cool. I want lanterns." I look at your mod. It adds lanterns. I love it. Thank you.

    If I could make one suggestion, as to the textures you use, I would suggest adding a little 'noise' to the patterns, so they mesh with the world a little more. The colors are a bit solid, based on the screenshots, but even then, there's nothing wrong with it in the least if you should decide to leave it as is.

    Age: 18, going on 19 this August
    Characters Name: Pastor/Father Trivicus will do nicely.
    Characters Age: 41
    Characters preferred profession: It is considered good luck to bring an exorcist with you to a haunted cave. Far less mobs with them around, if you know what I mean.
    Characters biography: Trivicus is a well-meaning Octium who has devoted his life to keeping anyone who needs protection from the dire undead safe, be it skeleton, zombie, or demon. As such, his story holds somewhat more violence than that of a usual Octium, yet solely in the name of keeping his allies and community safe from the threat of the demon and undead menace. Therefore, among his history of combat studies is an expansive knowledge of nearly all manner of undead. A scholarly bruiser, if you will.
    Characters Personality: Trivicus is humble, but holds a strong sense of duty to his profession. Rarely clouded by pride, though has been known to be analytical and reliable, yet insensitive and stubborn.
    Characters Unique Traits: I don't know if this would be allowed, and will not contest it if it is not, but if players can get 'infected' or 'corrupted' in any sort of way, Trivicus would be the sort to be able to reverse this.
    Why you want to join this server: I really miss Role-Playing.
    What do you expect this server to be like: Stories to follow, chances to make my own stories, expectations of honesty from myself and my peers, and conflict in good fun!

    About yourself: Suffice to say I'm introverted, intuitive, thinking, perceiving? I'm also a reformed grammar nazi; it'll bug me, but I promise I can keep it to myself, heh! I'm in it for a good story, most of all.

    I was going to post this idea, but saw it had already been done.

    If you don't mind me adding my input to it, I really like the idea as well. I think I good height for a barrel would be 1.5 blocks, same as the height of one block and a half block. And as for interface, I liked the idea of option b as per the original post; another possibility would be an interaction like the jukebox block, wherein if you simply right-click the barrel with a bucket of water, the bucket will fill with water.

    The last part of my input would be adding that a bucket should be able to craft two items as well; wheat used on a bucket of water will cause the bucket to produce beer (that's a really popular suggestion I liked, too), after a while, or an empty bucket could be used to hold milk, which could age into cheese, if left alone!

    I'm acutally not using Optimine. Is it required? When I last used Optimine, the pause screen wouldn't show up when I hit escape, so I didn't bother with it.

    Is that the most RECENT modloader? I know that there was one that would cause that to happen but it was fixed with an update. If it is the newest one then maybe some one can help you.

    You were right, I was accidentally using an outdated one. I just installed the latest one, but I got the same error message, though.

    Bummer, I thought my stupid mistake was all that was keeping me from getting this mod working, heh.
