The armor never breaks, but is crappy, however...it never breaks; whereas non-guard/staff armor does.

Full chain gives 12/20 armor points.
Full diamond gives 20/20 armor points.
Obviously from a first glance, full diamond > full chain.
However, full diamond on non staff have durability of helmet: 364, chestplate: 529, leg: 496, boots: 430.
A non-staff pvper would be at a major disadvantage should one not carry additional armor AND if their armor breaks. Protection, as far as I know, does not prevent an item from losing a durability; as only unbreaking does that.
So if the diamond helmet or boots break, the pvper would only have 14/20 armor points; of which is only 2/20 better than full chain.
And when the armor breaks, the damage taken goes up, even if it is slightly; but sometimes, a 1/2 heart or 1 heart damage can mean victory or defeat.
Staff armor will never break, which means that the staff will take consistent damage over time (Again, ignoring damage modifiers.) and not have to worry about re-equipping armor.
In the heat of battle, one might forget to reequip armor (But that could also be the player's fault); thus, the non-staff pvper might be pvping without full diamond and eventually even reach the same armor points as a guard with regards to protection or less. (but they usually dies before that or takes a jail)
So where do we go from here?
Well, a guard mindset would be to exterminate the threat, worry about health, and [add something here if I am forgetting or missing something].
A non-staff pvper would have to exterminate the threat, worry about health, worry about armor, and worry about prison rules should they wish to avoid a jail.
What does a guard have to lose? Their enchanted sword (if they choose to carry one), and any other items besides spawned potions.
What does a free have to lose? Sword, armor, and any other item.
A free risks slightly more than what a guard has to risk, but I am not saying either is not risking anything at all besides the guard(s) who spawns with just the default equipment.
Obviously you can feel free to disagree as I am not a world renowned pvper or some title like that, although I do believe that a good pvper does not equal to an overpowered pvper.
I do not believe someone hacked it, I think the owner re-claimed their account.
Im saying our armor which is protection IV is worse than the diamond armor of the frees. It is nice not to have to worry about losing armor to damage thoughBecause the diamond armor is almost always prot IV or Prot III

2. Your a trainee you die easily
3. You get no hunger when you get guard
4. Armor that never breaks
So why does the suger needs to be guard only when you have all of those perks?
They armor may never break but you can't deny it sucks. I'm not supporting any side on this. Also we can't pick what armor to use we are require to use what is provided.

Ok to the point about guards making recommendations. Say your an alpha and your looking thru all the app and you come across an app with a lot of guards possibly connected maybe not recommending it. Wouldn't that make you stop and think about it and possibly recommend it. So even if they mean nothing to actually getting it they mean something in the end.

Actaully, the rule was created by Alphas, and officially implemented by Noakii.
Can you clear this up for us than. I know it originally said 2-3 times for 45 min but it has since been changed to say 3 times for 15 min. So technically they shouldn't be jailed after two times but after 3

Ok I have something to say on this. Although it says 3 sometimes its hard for us to keep straight how many times it has happened and we will jail you after two or maybe five. You have to give guards especially alphas credit it's hard to keep some of this stuff. Just send them to C if they know its only two and have them read the sign.
We are adding a faction server/world that should be fun. Still looking for donors and maybe one or two more guards. Donors help keep the server running at its finest and guards keep the server clear of rule breakers. We do have a donor block for anyone who donates $20 or more.
I like enchanted things as long as they're not used in combat. I like to stare at them, like my enchanted weed that I bought from Viper <3
When used in combat, though, they're annoying -.- I play on a survival server where one of the kits gives a Knockback X stick, and when you're trying to get some wood, someone comes out of nowhere and whacks you with it....
The reason I say this is because of them being used in combat. Like today jarryd was using a KB 3 stick on me. In the end he/me hit him into lava and he lost it
I don't like the fact that this server has started giving out KB stick sharpness hoes and so on. The sticks are especially annoying because they don't ever break. I don't think enchants like those should be put on non-weapons and given away its stupid to have to fight themIf someone hits a guard into lava to kill them does that count as killing them
I've waited too long to tell you guys...however, I am leaving today to go on another one of those "mini vacations" that I had to go on the day after I got Alpha, back in November. There is little to no Internet up there, so playing on Convicted is definitely out of the question; I'll see what I can manage about checking the forums. I will not be back until Sunday night, however, due to the amount of schoolwork I will probably have Monday, I probably won't be online until Tuesday or so. I will be able to resume normal forum moderation (not like actual forum moderation, I'm not a forum moderator :P) on Monday. See you guys then. I will have I Internet usage from my phone for a few more hours, thankfully.
