I do not have any additional experience with the prison genre, but I do have a significant amount of experience with the PVP genre. I've been on many PVP servers and have successfully killed players on them. However, while playing on this server, I feel that I am gaining more and more experience with the prison genre as well as the PVP genre as I go on. 6) What is your time zone? EST
7) Why are you the best choice for guard? When I came on this server, I found it very unique. I've never played on such an interesting RPG server. So I started to play on it. I am very experienced with the PVP genre as I have been on tons of PVP/raid allowed servers. I also do not experience much lag, so I would have fast reflexes as a guard. Here are a few scenarios of what I would do:
1. Suppose a prisoner comes into a non-pvp zone, let's say the basketball court in block B, holding a sword. I would tell him to give me his sword as it is a contraband item. If he doesn't listen, I would count down from 5-1 in the chat. If he still didn't listen, I would jail him for 10 minutes, using the command /jail [player] temp 10m.
2. If the same scenario as the first one happens in a pvp zone, I would start to attack the prisoner, after he would first hit me, of course. However, if I lost the battle and died, I wouldn't be able to attack him until the prisoner starts attacking me again.
3. In any pvp-zone, I will defend myself and any other prisoners being attacked by others (by killing the attackers).
I also think I would be the best choice for a guard because I look at myself as a mature person. I never spam the chat with caps, and I always remain calm. Besides, spamming in caps is just plain unreasonable. The only reasons you would want to do that were if you were trying to get noticed, or if you just were trying to annoy the other members on the server.
I also never "troll" other members. I think of it as just being stupid. Trolling just isn't the right way to go. For me, trolling on convicted can include scamming, tricking the guards/members, or just being a smart-alec. I've never scammed a person and do not plan to ever do so. I plan to earn my money on this server fair and square, so I'm not going to go around fake-selling weapons, making the buyer pay first, and then just walk away laughing. 8) What is your current rank? Do you understand that we will require PROOF of your rank when/if you retire from guard?

My god i love the nice grammar and everything, but this application looks so stale and boring. It's like something i would have written in 6th grade. Please show some enthusiasm and show people why you really want to be a guard and not use generic reasons such as giving people a scenario as to what you would do. You're basically re-writing the rules but in a scenario-like fashion. Guard applications are supposed to be unique. If they were meant to be riggid and stale everyone would have been a guard by now. You haven't read the rules carefully. Try rereading them thoroughly. Also, you have been a guard twice now, so why would you expect to be chosen a third time if you got demoted/retired twice?
Peaceful mode is for people who want to play the game without any of the challenges in easy+, and explore the game without worry, but don't want it to be too easy like creative mode. Adding hunger to peaceful just ruins the point of the gamemode. Second of all, if you do play on easy then why try to impliment something to peaceful that shouldnt be there? If hunger was really wanted in peaceful by the majority of players then the creators would have put it in long ago.
I'd rather have them drop an item where you could make a potion of blending, where if you drink it you'll blend into the environment you surround. You would see people in a jungle biome blend into trees and grass.
Optifine makes me LOSE dozens of FPS. You heard me. The only way to make it give me the normal amount of FPS is by making my settings much lower than what they are in normal Minecraft. If Jeb added Optifine to Minecraft, I'd have to stop playing.
My rig is Nvidia Geforce 560(not sure if TI or not, when I was buying it, it said it was, but some programs say it isn't now), i7, 4gb RAM, and 400GBs space.
That would be a nice computer set up, but why is your RAM so low? You should of at least gotten 8GB.
Emerald tools would have to break really fast, since emeralds aren't durable at all. My dad works at Tiffany (a jewelry company) and he says when he has to put an emerald into a ring or something it shatters if he doesn't do it right. If it can't survive being pushed into a ring wrong, how could it ever slay monsters, mine stone, or chop wood. I guess you could make emerald shovels or hoes, but that would be dumb without the other tools. Then again, emerald tools could just be to show off, like gold.
That would be pointless to just show them off. I just think we need to keep emeralds as currency by making it slightly more common in mining, give gold tools a bit more durability to buff em up a bit since gold is still pretty useless in terms of tools and armor, and expand on testificate trading and quests and such. I really want mojang to re-texture testificates since they still look like squidward preists to me... but that can wait.
Anywho, waah waah. Obviously guard was NOT meant for you. You guards have it easy these days, with the chainmail armor and how many dozens of you there are on at once. When I was guard (cue old man mode), we didn't have any of that! It was three pieces of pork, some iron armor (which sucked back then mind you) and a diamond sword. I was sometimes the only guard online for hours, and people loved to attack me in groups. It was a living hell.
So I abused the **** out of my position.

People started calling abuse on me from every direction when i followed rules as a guard. Also, there aren't dozens of us online at one time, it's usually 1-3 guards online at a time, which makes it difficult for us to do our jobs. Now stop insulting him because he was a great guard and you have no idea how it is to be a guard now. Everyone just reports you and spams abuse for nothing and tries to get you demoted so there will be less guards around for them to kill other people without consequences.
PVP and PVE are related but not the same. But! if you cant PVE worth sh*t then what makes you think you can PVP?
Running and logging from skeletons and zombies is more pathetic then running and logging against a player.

Secondly, i had no intentions of pvp logging, and i didn't know that it's a demotable offense since pvp logging isn't in the rules. I logged out and back on right away because the player who was attacking me was invisible. I didn't do it so that i could relog and kill the person in an unfair advantage. He already had the disadvantage anyway by not wearing armor nor a sword, and had no items in his inventory.
It's like everybody hates nooby. Everyone is trying to make up ******** to blame on me. Noakii probably told all of you not to trust me or anything anyway. Doesn't really matter since i wont be on the server long and i'll be playing tekkit with viper and old buddies.

A mob isn't a player, and it doesn't attack you like a player does because players have different aspects to them than mobs.
