My thought is that they will replace right click as the left hand attack, and since sword blocking is done by right clicking, sword blocking would be impossible to do with controls, thus removed.

So my current quest says to acquire 3 iron ingots, 3 zinc ingots and 3 charcoal/coal. I have 3 iron ingots, 3 zinc ingots, and 3 charcoal in my inventory and the quest is not completed. Help please?

When I saw that the shading was 100% resourcepack made, I could not close my mouth. I just thought of how much work you had to put in to this map. Not only the map itself, but the resourcepack to perfectly synchronize with the shading. I am just amazed that Minecraft maps could have this much effort into it and how the map nearly perfectly recreated the Mirror's Edge world. After all this effort, you definitely deserve all this positive attention, and I cannot stress enough how amazing this map is.

As I mentioned twice, I ABANDONED this thread a long time ago(That is months ago), until somebody gives me good reasoning on why I should continue it. However, all I see are flame wars. 1. It says "NOW HOT" because it was rated as hot, and the replies were mostly positive at the time.
2. To be honest, I kind of quit on this thread. Did you see the date of the last reply besides the one from 2014? Eeyup, somebody apparently necroe-d this post(Have no idea how though
Back at the end of 2013, I researched a little bit on normal minecraft mobs, and I found out that this mob might be too OP, and of course, slightly unoriginal. I tried to make a solution that would make bane of arthropods actually useful AND make a survival mode source for jump boost potions, which resulted in this thread. If people are reading this, and if you think this suggestion is actually good enough for the game, then I may continue it. But for now, I am still wondering how in the world this thread got a reply after months since I gave up on it.
