So instead of explaining to them that you're working on the mod, you tell them to "look back a few pages"? What sense does that make?
Why don't you just not respond?
You're seriously trying to argue that the mod author spends a substantial amount of time on this thread responding to every last person, and that's why he's not getting the mod working as quickly as people would like? Where is he? I don't see many posts from him recently. That's why your analogy doesn't work.
I understand why those people upset you, just like I understand why those people are upset that the mod isn't working. You're blowing steam just like them.
You sir are completely wrong, Nolan has repeated and quoted himself countless times, and only tells readers to go back and read when he JUST answered what they are asking literally a 3 to 4 pages ago. Why don't they just not reply you ask, I'd like to think because they are better then that. Dispite the amount of repeative questions, they still value those who download their mod, and apparently want us to know they are working on it. I personally refuse to download a mod when i don't see the mod's creator talking to those who use it in his forum.
You say my analogy is flawed because you don't see them posting recently, SCROLL UP FROM YOUR POST, Nolan posting several hours before my post, and even after your post, Nolan has been all over this thread in the last few days, trying to fix those who are having problems and wading through ignorance as he does it. He should be thanked for his hard work, yet very few have seen fit to provide such gratitude. My analogy floats my friend, while your logic has holes in it everywhere.
You don't even have the slighest hint of why i'm actually annoyed. I will how ever share with you, I am annoyied because out of all the hard work Nolan has done, day in and day out, working on the mod and answering questions, instead of giving credit where it is due, he is rushed, asked things he has answered several times, and looked down apon by the community who believe he isn't working on the mod hard enough.

BiomesOPlenty-1.9-4.0.0.1970-universal I will double check to make sure they are actually BoP biomes.
*edit*
Ok, I am getting BoP plants and stuff, but not actual biomes.

In 1.9 what do I select for terrain gen to use both RTG and BoP?
To the person looking for a way to generate chunks in 1.9 There is a way to do it with vanilla command blocks, it places you in spectator mode and teleports you around, showing the radius genned from spawn.

Install optifine after zombe.

Your order is wrong, try re ordering the mods in the list, zombe should show no errors.
I need more info than that to be able to help you.
Re download the mod, I fixed that yesterday.
Re download the mod, I fixed that yesterday.

A. If you need help with a mod, ask in the mod's thread, don't make a new one.
B. Before asking about an issue with a mod read about all known issues with said mod. It says in the OP for Zombes Modpack that there is an issue with the x-ray mod and it is being worked on.

Mind you this has the same issues as the regular release, no dig/build mod and no recipe mod, so disable them in your config. I tested this by installing forge with MCPatcher and installing the zombe forge below it on the list.
Again, this is a Beta version, it may not be 100%.
Oh and apparently the item mod has not worked since 1.3.1, I did not catch that until this forge version actually threw the error at me, so I would disable that as well.

the link I posted in response to you is for forge compatibility, it will not work without forge.

That seems to be the one I updated, but it is always best to get your files here.

I have talked to md_5, I have not heard from tanzanite yet, but being gone 10 days does not mean he is not coming back.
I will look into that, md_fixed it for SMP so it would probably just be implementing his code in SSP.
I will look into this too, I have mainly been working on fly and forge compatibility, when I get forge compatibility 100% and the source cleaned up I will move onto the other broken things in the mod.
Off the top of my head they are
1. Dig/Build mod (that is a huge one to fix)
2. Display mod (the one that shows the first item in the chest)
3. Noclip
4. Item mod
5. Recipe mod
6. Death Mod

Ok, ok ok, just stop complaining/arguing. This is a thread for people to come get help with this mod, not complain about it or whine about the update process >.< you are cabitzing about something that is given to you for FREE. Tanzanite has something called a life, and situations in his life are preventing him from taking on the updates. If you would notice that he has not even been online since he last updated the OP.
Didn't your parents ever teach you "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all"?
I tell you what, I am going to ask the admins and md_5 if it would be alright if I make a side thread with the latest updated that I make so people can find the latest information on this mod without looking through pages of posts, and I can give decent tech support to those who are having issues with the updates that are being made.
P.S. No that was not a beautiful analogy, you BUY a computer, this is given to you for free. You did not take it to me the "Computer company" Got a new tech.
Plus yet again I can see my original point did not make it through to you about the 1.3.1 update. So let me lay it out for you in plain english.
The 1.3.1 update now runs a vanilla MC server in single player, so things that this mod do have to be changed from running purely client side to running on both a client and a server, from the same mod. Making things run on a server is not as easy as it seems, try modding a MC server without bukkit, try modding something that is a client and a server in one.
Class files that existed in 1.2.5 no longer exist in 1.3.1/1.3.2, The files that replaced them are their multiplayer counterparts, which work COMPLETELY different. This update is not like any other, you cannot just take your old code, plop it into a new MCP, fix a few bugs, change a few fields, and be up and running. Many things have to be COMPLETELY re-engineered. That is like writing the mod from scratch again, it is not something that happens quickly.
In your analogy that would be like taking a computer that was designed to run a local OS but then the hardware manufacturer forced a change the BIOS so it had to run a half local/half cloud OS, but the people at the OS company that made the original have all retired so it was handed off to to a new team of programmers to write the new OS, but they have to throw away half of what they knew about the hardware and learn it all again. Plus they are working for free.
