Is Mr. Spike Man anywhere near where my character is, or will she have to get moving to find him?

I have literally no idea which one I'm closer to; I just had my character duck into a random store. I'll try and figure it out, though, and create a distraction.

And yes, I'll make sure to thank Finn for all that water. ^_^

Yeah, the title's self-explanatory. What's the funniest or most ridiculously stupid thing you've done in-game?

For me, it would have to be when I shifted at the edge of a ravine. At night. On normal mode. Yeah, I went plummeting down. Thanks, zombie.

    What about you guys?

Well Emmett can't do anything either, all he can do is run. His power helps him avoid attacks and all that, but in the actual fighting department he's next to useless billy in the corner.

I don't even know why Emmett went up to them, but I imagine he would do so because he does stupid reckless things all the time haha

Well, all Sapphire can really do is splash people. She was very disappointed when she found out she couldn't be like Katara.

Let's face it, everything needs that one character whose recklessness is just boundless. I guess Emmett's filling that role here.

Sapphire's probably not gonna do that, though; she's more like "I would really like to fight you right now but it would not end well for me so I'm just gonna hope that someone else kicks your *ss"

I feel like I should be doing something right now, but there's not really anything my character CAN do. Trying to fight would basically be suicide for her, so...yeah.

Salty! You get your joke, right?

I sense some flaunting of powers by my character... Heh, don't worry I won't make him do it too overboard. ;)

    I made a joke?

Believe me, if he flaunts his powers, he's getting some water to the face.

When she saw the guards go down easily and some ice come out of f**king nowhere, though, Sapphire got the feeling that maybe this wasn't something she should touch with a ten-foot pole. "Okay, new plan." She muttered to herself, ducking into the closest building she could find. She unzipped her purse, rummaging through it until she found her water bottle. Unscrewing the cap, she pulled the water out, holding it above one hand like a weapon. If I have to fight, I'm screwed.

Sapphire flinched at the sight. "Okay, maybe I shouldn't go over there…or maybe I should…f**k it, I'm here to go to a school for magical powers. Time to take risks." She cautiously began to make her way over to the commotion.

Hmm... I think I'll try this. I wonder how this'll work out for staring the RP on my end though...

    Name: Finn Nix.

    Age: 14.

    Gender: Male.

Appearance: He's a 5'3" tall kid, with Bone white hair, grey-blue eyes, and pale skin. He usually wears a blue shirt and pants, and anything with long-sleeves to keep his skin from getting burned by sunlight.

    Race: Human.

Personality: Often bouncing around, and always talking about stuff, where if you don't start speaking before he does, it'll be a while before you CAN speak again. Complains most of the time about stuff he finds to be 'lame' or 'not fair'. Often very cocky.

Powers: His power is to control ice and make ice constructs, such as swords, armor, projectiles, etc. He also has the ability to temporarily give other people within a certain radius of him(4 feet to be exact) the same powers he has, though... Not without setbacks for him. He is also immune to the cold.

Backstory: He comes from a family of people who all love the sea and the creatures of the sea, the feel of the cold around them, biting them as they sail. Both of his parents are fisherman, and they are(were) training him to be one too. As such, he's homeschooled, taught most everything by his parents. He and his family usually live on a boat docked in a Boston Harbor, when they're not out at sea catching fish and crabs. When they go on a week-long voyage, a shark attacked as they were pulling in the crab cages, and he froze it instantly on some random instinct he had. They were all surprised by that, and while he started thinking it was totally awesome, his parents totally freaked out. Later that week, he got the letter... In the middle of the Ocean. Strange...

Equipment: Whatever he makes with his ice powers, as well as a filleting knife his father gave him.

Weaknesses: When he gives someone else his powers, he slowly heats up the more they use it, feeling feverish and hot, as well as not being able to use the power himself. When he's sick, depending on what kind of sickness it is, it changes his powers. For instance, if he got a cold, his powers would be related to fire.

    Other: None to speak of.

    So, when do we start?

I get the feeling that, as far as powers go, our character are going to work pretty well together. That, or Sapphire will be beyond salty that Finn can control ice when she's tried so much to no avail. Either one is very possible, haha.

North. Okay, she could go north. "Thanks for the help." Sapphire said with a nod. "Guess that's my next stop." She turned around, heading back outside and, after a moment to figure out which way was north, going in that direction. It occurred to her now that she actually hadn't actually gotten any sustenance. Eh, food can go die in a hole. When it came down to it information was a lot more important.

When a man who looked to be mostly spider walked out of a side room and explained the situation, Sapphire decided it would be a good idea to ignore her aversion to arachnids for the time being.

"Um…hey." Sapphire raised one hand in a tentative wave. "Thanks for the clarification. Nice to meet you…and what do you mean, another child?"

Sapphire raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry, I don't understand." She said. "On second thought, you probably don't understand me…f**k, this is hopeless." After a brief moment, she decided on what the simplest thing to say was. "English?"

She took a look around the city. "Damn. Impressive stuff." She muttered to herself.

A lot of thoughts ran through her head, but the most prominent one was sustenance. All this traveling hadn't left much time for eating or drinking, and…yeah, she was paying the price for it now.

A vibration began to come from her purse, and with an eyeroll, Sapphire pulled out her phone, answering the call. "Hey, Mom."

"Did you get there okay, sweetie?" Her mom asked.

"'Course I did. I texted you three hours ago."

"Well, I was worried." She reasoned. "You're halfway across the country learning magic; don't I have a right to be concerned about my daughter?"

"Mom, I haven't learned anything yet." Sapphire scoffed. "I just got here. The acadamy's not even open yet."

"Well, then why didn't you stay home a bit longer?"

"You don't need to constantly worry about me, you know." She said. "I'm sixteen years old, and for the love of God, I have magical powers. I can take care of myself."

"I know, honey." She sighed. "Parents never stop worrying about their kids. It's our job."

"Heh, I've figured that out by now. I'll call you if anything goes badly, okay?"

"Alright, Sapphire. Your dad's at work, but he said to pass on his love."

"Tell him I love you both."

"I love you too. Stay safe."

    "I will. Bye."

    "Bye."

The line went silent, and Sapphire put her phone away. God, her parents were great, but could she go four hours without having to contact them?

"Okay. Sustenance. Now." With that goal in mind, Sapphire went off in search of someplace she could get food.
