I've been playing your maps since Sea of Flame 1. I'm sure it's no surprise to you or ANYONE else (May even be a compliment to you) that your map making skills have increased massively since you first started; you've learned what works, what doesn't, what challenges are fun and what ones are just tedious.
My question is as follows: Do you have any plans to go back to your 'roots' for one map, and create a "pure" survival SH map with the new skills you've acquired?
What I mean by that is a map that goes back to your old saying of 'the victory monument is a secondary objective, giving the player somethign to do besides surviving'. While it is no doubt that your new maps are a BLAST to play and some of the best CTM maps out there (You DID create the genre), i would still love a new map like Canopy Carnage or Black Desert, maps you can set up on a server or as a world for purposes beyond a CTM game, that still offer more (sadistic) challenge than your regular minecraft.
EDIT: Also, recently you've started completely limiting player access to certain things for challenge: I'm thinking fluids in Nightmare Realm specifically (at least, i haven't found any at my current point). While this is all fine and good, and adds great challenge to the CTM portion, have you ever considered adding them in (for those linear maps) a chest near the 'final' wool as "endgame content", should the player desire to build more on said world?
So, on my main computer, I type in 'Super hostile' and it brings this topic up in my history immediately.
However, I was on a different computer as mine is in for repair (Nightmare Realm related damages to my computer). So I type in Super hostile and hit enter, and then was like UGURHGH cause it's not in my history. But it immediately brings me to this topic!
im almost 100% sure that Endermen are the npc's... i could be wrong though
I'm fairly certain you are wrong. Again, no one knows. But we've only seen 2 picturse of endermen, and only 1 of them was in a village. Keep in mind there were otehr mobs in this village as well.
Terms of use question, as for uploading maps under a different site.
What if you're uploading a COMPLETED map, ie you did a LP and people wanted to see how your world looked at the end of it. Assuming all credit for the original map is given, is that all fine and dandy?
I had my first world, did a lot of work on it etc. Then, I deleted it. Don't remember why or how, but it was gone.
Fast forward a few months. I end up really missing my world. Then, an update coems that changes the world select menu, and I see something. A 'World 99'. I open it up, and face out of a small glass window at a natural lavafall. Not remember this (It was me exploring before I changed worlds), I go down, and find a small outpose with a dock... And immediately remember. I grabthe nearest boat and sail back, and there everything is, just as I remembered it. My first house, my first 'castle', my spawn tower and mineshaft.
Actually, Notch has stated at one point he found the psychological effect of the Weeping Angels amazing and wanted to add something like that into Minecraft. While these do have a heavy inspiration from slendermen, It wouldn't surprise me if Notch admitted Weeping angels were a bit of an inspiration for their behaviour as well.

Side suggestion: Have a 'lighter' rain sound effect for regular rain, and the current one (albeit at a reduced volume) during thunderstorms.

Not giving credit is one thing. But claiming it as your own is another.

The update had brought my world back to me.

OptiFine 1.7.3_HD_F resulted in it blackscreening at the menu, and wouldn't let me progress into the game.
OptiFine 1.7.3_HD_F_MTL resulted in it crashing into a sky blue colour when I booted up a new world.
i3 processor, 4 GB memory, only an integrated GPU but that didn't stop my other computer from using this to great success.
I am on 1.7.3, with a completely fresh copy of Minecraft.exe. No other mods used, adn no error reports given.
