    Weeeee, update! Okay, so I'm currently playing this seed, and this village has some AMAZING surprises beneath it. There's a somewhat deep hole on the south east corner, dig around at the bottom, specifically the Diorite. I put them as spoilers in case anyone wants a mystery.


    Mineshaft, I've found melon seeds so far, haven't explored all of it yet. As well as a skeleton dungeon connected to part of the mineshaft. Found both of these last night, so I don't know what they contain entirely.

    posted a message on Cool village/dungeon seed for 1.7+
    I found the village at those coordinates, but no dungeon. I'm assuming Dungeon as in chests, monster spawner, mossy cobblestone etc (caves are not dungeons, ravines are not dungeons, so on). I did however, find a dungeon just below the surface a short distance away at X 167, Z 80. Either way, nice seed, and nice find!

    I see, thanks for the information. Was it intentional or did it just kinda happen. Any idea if there's patchnotes on it?

    Lately I've been trying to fulfill requests for people looking for a specific type of seed, but now It seems like all of a sudden the only blocks that are see-through are grass blocks. Seems to do this no matter what version I'm running or if it's patched or not. Anyone else encounter this?

    posted a message on [1.6.2] Timber! - Cut trees down in one swing
    Is there any way to configure Timber so that shift is needed for cutting down a whole tree, rather than needing shift to prevent all log blocks from breaking? My problem. I was editing a block on my house, which happened to be made out of a ton of logs. In fact most of it was logs. Anyways, I was trying to make a change, breaking a block, and by some freak amount of luck some tiny zombie ******* attacked me right as the block broke, and the knockback for some reason cancelled out the sneak mechanic cause my whole house to disintegrate. I'd much prefer having to hold the sneak button to activate the entire log break mechanic, rather than using it to prevent it.

    I really, REALLY like this mod and the way it works. Reminds me of the treasure potions from Terraria. Would love a version where the ability was acquired by some sort of potion/enchantment, maybe using spider eyes combined with other stuff or something for potions. No idea how hard that would be or what would be required to do so. Either way, very nice job.

    Got this running Wednesday night, played around in a new world for a while and everything ran fine. Stopped playing, closed out and went to bed. Tried to play again Thursday night after work and the game crashes. Did a clean install of MC, reinstalled FML and everything else (between Wednesday night and Thursday night when it crashed, I modified absolutely nothing about minecraft and my computer was off between then as well. My other mods that use FML seem to work just fine, and the game only crashes with simple ores.

    Hello. I love what optifine does and is capable of, as it a wonderful alternative to mcpatcher, now that I've started using mods. However, one thing I can't seem to do with optifine that I'm able to do mcpatcher when it comes to textures is custom skybox textures. Specifically I use http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/345738-32x-146-derivation-rpg-v51/. I managed to get other custom textures working via different options with optifine (custom mobs which gives mobs random textures, same for flowers grass, and other textures), but the custom skybox textures seem to elude me.

    Its okay that its so common.
    I wouldn't say it was useless. It mines faster and for longer than stone. Also It has more uses than stone and is more abundant than iron. I Love the ability to make buckets out of it since moving water around is a big must early game.


    Best of luck with updating for when 1.3 comes around (august 1 I think), Alexander. I love your mod. It's done exactly what I've wanted to this game since I first started playing (new ores, in a simple manner lol), to both the regular world and the nether. Keep up the good work.

    Hmmm, I wondered about optifine to. Minecraft errors for me when I use the magiclauncher and optifine when I have your mods installed, but the normal game runs fine with the default launcher with the mods installed except when trying to switch texture packs. Any idea what I'm doing wrong by chance? Not sure where to get help on this issue.

    edit: Wait, I think I may have figured it out. I think I had the loader order wrong for mods (and related) in the magic launcher. Had no idea it worked like Bethesda mods.

    Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.

    First of all, LOVE this mod. EXACTLY what I was looking for in minecraft. Anyways, here's my problem. I have everything installed proper, the game runs fine, but crashes whenever I try to switch to a texture pack from default (crashes at the selection screen, not when I load a save) Not sure if this is a mod issue or what. Specifically trying to use the Traditional beauty with your addon, it crashes when I try to select any texture pack.

    I love the concept of this mod, But I installed it and I'm wonder how I might change it so that instead of ore being clumped into giant balls, they are more like veins of 20-50 or so, a little more spread out? Hopefully I installed it properly.
