    question: I'm using 1.7.10 of microblocks... if I'm using a button, how can I get a redstone current to flow through microblocks? I'm also using mods like Project Red and Buildcraft if that helps. as you can see in the screenshot, I'm basically trying to get that button to send a redstone signal to open the door.

    under normal circumstances, the redstone would trigger the door if that were a regular block... but the regular block (called factory block from Chisel 2) is having issues rendering due to optifine..but somehow, using the miroblocks version of the factory lock works just fine, hence why I'm using it as an alternative so basically my dilemma is:

    factory block = can carry redstone current 1 block away: The block won't display.

    Microblock version of factory block= will display: won't carry redstone current.

    Hey, so I found something strange.... I'm using Optifine (HD Ultimate C1 for 1.7.10) and Chisel 2 (2.4.1.40) for 1.7.10, and whenever I place doors by blocks, this seems to happen...the blocks become invisible and for some odd reason, allow me to see through blocks around it.. this seems to only happen to Chisel 2 blocks that have connected textures when placed next to more of it's type (like the Blue Neon Plating blocks for example). I showed this to the Mod Author thinking that Chisel 2 was the problem, but then he asked me if I was using optifine (which seems to be a common issue with optifine users).. so.. I thought I'd just share that here as well .

    There are some blocks that don't work with Optifine unfortunately. Do you have FastCraft or BetterFPS? They work wonders for me and don't have the same incompatibilities that Optifine ends up having.


    Then again, it might just be version problems, as Optifine is limited to certain versions of Forge.


    I really hope it's just a version error... I have all 3 of those, but quite frankly, I think the modpack I've created would run best with as many FPS/performance boosters as possible. lol I guess I'll notify the Optifine mod author about the issue unless they know about it already.

    It's too bad there isn't some global HUD element position system where each element is aware of every other element so they can dynamically adjust themselves - that's sort of the kind of system I have made, but obviously it doesn't know about HUD elements from other mods.


    Aside: "you guys" is just me. There is not anyone else working on this mod.


    ah sorry about that. lol You're doing a great job with this mod ^^ And yea, I do have quite a few mods going haha. But cool, I look forward to that in the next update!
