    PECULIAR PARKOUR!

MAP MADE BY: KH4KIS (AKA NICKSTARWARS1)

Peculiar Parkour is an all-new Minecraft parkour map. Peculiar Parkour is more ambitious than any other map I've created. It is significantly longer than anything I've made, although the excitement is still the same as it always was! The amount of pixel art is monumental, while the crazy 'meta' stages will still have you never losing that sense of absolute adventure!

This map is dedicated mainly to, "The Pack," although there are many more dedications at the end. The Pack consists of six Minecraft YouTubers including: JeromeASF, BajanCanadian, Woofless, TBNRfrags, Molestar123, and CraftBattleDuty.

My record time on this map is 17:42, in case anyone wanted a challenge to beat, :)

Feel free to use this map for YouTube, Twitch or any other video-sharing platform as long as you don't plagiarize. :)

This map was created and intended for fun, so enjoy yourself! Thank you! :)

If you break a beacon with your fist, you will get it, which makes no sense. It's made of obsidian.

First of all, why would you just let a random creeper wander into your beacon site? If you want to have a beacon, you should try to protect it/encase it. It's just poor protection.

Can you please stick to the suggestion rather than my personal errors? I would appreciate your feedback on the idea, nothing else.

I will tell you that it is my fault, but the fact that the beacon gets obliterated doesn't make any sense and should be changed. That is what I want you to criticize.

posted a message on Beacon Mechanics

So here I am, in my survival world. I just got my second beacon and when placing it down on top of the several stacks of iron blocks, I think about what effect I want. I click the GUI and am trying to decide, when a creeper strolls up the iron blocks and blows up. He blew up the beacon. He blew up what took hours and hours to get. It didn't drop a nether star and I'm fairly certain it isn't supposed to. You can imagine my frustration.

Just to make it clear, I believe that beacons should not be able to be exploded at all, just like ender chests.

While you use 5 glass to create it, beacons are also made of 3 obsidian (which is indestructible by creepers and explosions), and 1 Nether Star (which is ALSO indestructible by creepers and explosions). Why is it that beacons, which by their crafting recipe seem to be one of the most indestructible blocks in the game, blow up by normal creepers. Ender chests are made with obsidian and they can't be blown up. Enchanting tables are made with just 1 more block of obsidian, and they cannot be destroyed by creepers.

Whilst researching why this happens, I've come across a few things. Apparently, beacons can be broken by hand, and will give the beacon. This suggestion supports the idea that beacons, just like obsidian and glass, can't be returned to the player if broken by hand. Furthermore, you should need a diamond pickaxe to mine it and get it back, just like obsidian. I believe this should happen with enchantment tables, too, but that is for a different suggestion.

The most popular argument I've seen on this topic is that beacons are fragile blocks. This doesn't make much sense however, as they are made with the most explosively resistant blocks in the game.

Please leave criticism and feedback on this idea, or merely a proper explanation of why beacons act this way. I am a bit salty, so my writing may have been slightly influenced by salt, sorry.

Allow me to walk you through this.

    1. Click the link given, you should be taken to an adf.ly page. In the top right corner of your screen, you should see a countdown, and then a button that says "Skip Ad." Click this button.

    2. You should now be on a website called MediaFire. Click the "Download Weird Parkour" button, as that is the file.

    3. When it is done downloading, find the file. You may have put it on the desktop, or it may be in your downloads folder. Another possibility is that it is still on your browser, but you need to drag it to your desktop. As soon as you find it, double click it to open it.

    4. Simultaneously open your Minecraft saves folder. Drag the folder inside the file you just downloaded into the saves folder of your Minecraft.

    5. Launch Minecraft in 1.8, as that is the version this map is meant to be played on.

    6. Locate the map in your list of Single Player worlds and have fun!

    WEIRD PARKOUR!

    MAP MADE BY: KH4KIS (NICKSTARWARS1)

WEIRD Parkour is an all-new 1.8 Minecraft Parkour map. It explores many varieties of parkour, and is a truly 'weird' parkour map. You will find yourself jumping on odd patterns of blocks, slime heads, piston contraptions, and so much more!

This map is dedicated mainly to, "The Pack," although there are many more dedications at the end. The Pack consists of six Minecraft YouTubers including: JeromeASF, BajanCanadian, Woofless, TBNRfrags, Molestar123, and CraftBattleDuty.

Feel free to use this map for YouTube, Twitch, or any other video-sharing platform, as long as you don't plagiarize. It would help extremely if you were to link this map in any video you make on it, or check out my website: www.khakismaps.info

My record time on this map is 8:41 in case anyone wanted a challenge. It was, however, a flawless play-through.

Looks epic like all your maps! It's pretty cool that you have a website now :)

I can't wait to play and record extreme parkour 2, but I'm away for the weekend so I'll have to take a look at it on monday.

Scrap that, just played through it xD Extreme Parkour 2 brings back a lot of the cool elements that I loved from previous maps and uped the difficulty level a bit, which made it more interesting! Also the Gimbap is an addition I loved seeing :D

Anyway keep up the great work with these maps! ;)

Upping the difficulty is something I've always wanted to do for at least one map. I think I'll be going back to easier parkour maps, though. Anyways, I want to thank you again for playing my map, as you always do. I truly appreciate it. :)

Ok, I am VERY sorry for the inconvenience, it was my error that caused you to be spawned in the end room. The issue is fixed for any future players of the map, and I'm grateful that everyone was nice enough to come back on the forums and notify me.

Not sure what you mean, everything should be in order. Can you explain more about what your issue is?

EDIT: I just double checked the download for the map, and still, everything should be fine. When you spawn, you should be on a platform, with a drop down that clearly states, "In Here." Once you jump in, and read the rules, the button is located on the opposite wall of the rules. This location is printed on a sign on the wall of rules. Once you click the button, you should be teleported to the first stage. I hope that I helped you! :)

    EXTREME PARKOUR 2!

    MAP CREATED BY: KH4KIS (NICKSTARWARS1)

Extreme Parkour was a pretty insane map I made a few months ago. I thought it over, and decided to make a sequel. There isn't an order you need to play them in, as they are both parkour maps. This map is most definitely just as extreme as the first Extreme Parkour, if not more extreme. You will find yourself parkouring on pixel art designs, a MASSIVE Lucky Block build, and even Sushi! Yes, Sushi!

This map is dedicated to, "the Pack," although there are many more dedications at the end. The Pack is a group of Minecraft YouTubers that consists of: Bajan Canadian, JeromeASF, PrestonPlayz (TBNRfrags), Woofless, and Molestar123.

Feel free to use this map for YouTube, Twitch, or any other video sharing platform, as long as you don't plagiarize. It would also help massively if you were to take a look at my website: www.khakismaps.info

Please learn how to correctly write a sentence without making it a run-on. I don't necessarily agree with this idea, either. Wood yields the planks respective to its color. This is how I personally believe it should be.
