I mined through a wall, Pickaxe shattering as I did. I stepped into the room and noticed a frame of lightstone with a blue substance in the middle. I touched it and It rippled, almost like water. Suddenly, A hissing from right behind me. Everything went black.
Chapter One: A rude awakening and an even ruder cloud monster.
I woke up inside of another frame, And a pig was ontop of me. Well, I thought it was a pig untill I saw its golden wings. I shoved it off and onto the blue cloud (Where the portal had beem created) and it was launched into the air. I composed myself and checked my bag, Realizing I had nothing left. I had no idea how to get the portal working again and was stranded on the odd blue cloud. I stepped onto the cloud and was launched into the air, I landed on a nearby island. I see a tree. and dig up some dirt to make a bridge to the island. While building the bridge a rather rude cloud monster wouldn't leave me alone. But I make it to the tree, Back to square one.
Chapter Two: A temporary base and an interesting staff
I gathered the wood and began doing what any normal & sane person would do when they get stuck in an alternate dimension, Make carpentry tools. After making a pick and a shovel I see a glowing rock in the cliffside and I think it would make a good light source, So I begin to mine it. I go back and make some tools of stone, the begin to mine some purple crystal. I get only two, But I'm not sure if I need it anyway... I go back to my workbench and carve out a little base, Lighting it with some of the rock. I then begin to experiment with the purple rock, And it seems to fit naturally on a stick, Forming an odd staff of sorts. Noticing the island is very small (And I have alot of stone) I decide that making a bridge to the next island would be a good idea. Fingers crossed for no cloud monsters.
Chapter Three: A rather odd stone and a faithful pig.
Shortly after making the bridge I kill enough animals to make a saddle, I slowly approach a pig and put it on him. I fly the land of a bit until I notice some mossy stone, I go inside to find a dungeon. Feeling my current pick (That was almost broken) wouldn't do I crafted a couple and tried to mine the strange stone. To my surprise it sprung to life, I began degrading at it with my pick and it eventually died. I found a key inside him and a hidden chest. Opening it I found some interesting items; Two hammers, A lance, And a sword of fire.
I plan on generating a new map for my server when 1.8 comes out, so that we won't have to travel so far too see mushrooms, rivers, NPC villages, or whatever else is newly implemented. So I was looking around for a cool seed when I realized that if there's going to be new biome generation code, wouldn't seeds be creating different maps? Does anyone know how this will work?
is there an alternative to cuboid?
I've tried using the single player commands mod I type in /cuboid set1 set2 etc. it says unknown command
I do the same thing this time i type it //cuboid set 1 set2 still doesn't work someone here said to use the wand command
that doesn't work either. Is there any other alternative to this or is there a working cuboid mod?
Cubiod is a bukkit plugin for multiplayer. Why you would want it for singleplayer is confusing. Nonetheless it won't work in singleplayer because it was designed for multiplayer.

- Like the male aether skin but with an overworld theme instead (Possibly no hat?)
- 1x2 eyes (Like the default character)
- Dark Brown Hair

I am backing him up on this one. Char has greifed the prison to hell. I hope he doesn't go for my village next. =/ Requesting a ban on him.
