He hasn't said anything about a distinct adventure mode (yet). I'm betting it's more like items and features that lend to adventuring and exploration as opposed to all the building/constructing/mining updates we've been getting.
The poster is not "trying to get laid" or looking for "single ladies" as some seem to think.
The poster is obviously a girl.
She is a) looking to play with other girls or :cool.gif: is sick of some server full of adolescent boys giving her grief and having a little vent.
The posters name is Heavencraft as opposed to XXKILLKRAFTPWNMASTERXX and she said "anyone who is not a boy" as opposed to "any girls".
amirite?
I think I'm right.
edit: actually I just noticed their minecraft username is xxblackhawkxx lol... so maybe y'know... bit of both?
O.o
I didn't intend to imply that the OP felt this way.
Just me.
Like, maybe I should make a topic asking if there are any single female gamerswho play Minecraft in the area of Raleigh, North Carolina HINT HINTDESPERATE COUGH NUDGE PLEASE.
I'm actually looking into getting a new graphics card myself.
I'm shopping Tiger Direct right now, so... does anyone have suggestions on what I should put into my search query? Like GPU series and API and all that? I'm not the most knowledgeable on cards as of yet.
It seems that holding down the left mouse button causes my game to enter the ESC pause screen from time to time. It's only happened when I've held down that button, specifically using a diamond shovel if that matters, but it doesn't necessarily pause every time. I can't find much of a pattern to it, but it's really disrupting to game play. Anyone else get this?
Also, I've experienced some input lock as well since I updated. Kept moving forward after I released the W key.
I can only imagine this is related to the update as it hasn't occurred until today.
This could just be the poor quality of my computer, but I'm having extreme lag/low FPS/related issues on singleplayer when placing blocks; as soon as I right-click, the game lags for about a second and places two or even three blocks, only one of which ends up in the desired location (unless I adjust myself just right every time).
I searched the forum and found an old topic about this from September last year, so it's obviously not a new issue, but it's only become a problem for me since the 1.3 update. I'm hoping this will somehow be remedied during the next one.
Before anyone suggests, I am running this on minimal settings, on the browser version, on singleplayer, beta, all that. This is why I have to wonder if the problem isn't my computer. However, since I'm probably years away from purchasing a better one (and my motherboard is no good for upgrading the video cards, etc.), I must ask if this issue could possibly be fixed in programming.
Or I'd at least like to know if anyone else has this problem anymore. It's made MC extremely tedious to play, to the point that it's just not worth trying.
I dunno what part of Weegee they didn't pick up. Not all memes are universal.
Nah, man, that's Mama Luigi. Close, but not quite as deadly.
On-topic, I really don't understand this need for blood in every game. If someone seriously calls Minecraft a "kiddy game" and makes fun of you for playing it, they probably need to get their head out of their ass anyway. Adding blood does little more than run the risk of causing an uproar among over-cautious parents. I can certainly appreciate adding blood for realism in some games, but (1) this really isn't one of them, as supported by many posters above, and (2) it would probably cause more harm than good.

I suppose it's harder to distinguish between 16 and 18 than it is between 16 and 21...

Hopefully they'll keep adding new ones.
