Ok it looks like you have not installed the forge server correctly. what you are seeing is the Client side of forge, meaning everything you can see is based on your own game and not actually the server. when installing forge you get 2 jar files. extract the forge jar file and put it into the minecraft server file and nothing else. Drop that into your server and start it again.
I don't know what you mean by installing forge. Do you mean when I download the installer and hit install server? Then where do I put that? I put it in my Minecraft Server folder. What Minecraft server file do you mean?
So, me and my friend wanted to have a custom modded survival. We loaded up a bunch of mods into our Forge mods folders, and I loaded the mods onto the mods folder in my server folder. First off, all the mods work on single-player and are fully functional. However, when we head to the server and try to craft an item from a mod, it instantly puts it back in the crafting square. Or if we try to take an item out of NEI, it says: "There is no such item with ID (id)." We are both opped on the server, and all the mods are installed correctly. I put the mods into the Forge Server directory. I had no problem with this before either, it just happened yesterday. I know I portforwarded my server correctly because friends are able to join, and I allowed the Minecraft port through my firewall. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Alright, so, as I mentioned in my last post, I'm making a new CTF map. I'm having a problem setting the spawnpoint for the teams. Every time I try to set the spawn with a command block, it doesn't work. The players step on the pressure plate in the spawn, and they get put on a team, teleported to their side, and set the spawn to their base. When you die though, you get spawned under the map into the lava. Does anyone know how to fix this? The commands don't work in command blocks at all! Several other people were having trouble with this, as I tried all the solutions and they didn't work.
Commands
Set spawn for Red team: /spawnpoint @p[team=Red] 243 122 -290
Set world spawn: /setworldspawn 243 166 -317
In 1.8, you can instead use the /blockdata command to replace the contents of the chest directly, without having any spillage or the need to summon an entity. For 1.7, you have very few options, though the best would be to replace the chest with lava first before placing a new chest. You should be using /setblock for creating blocks, unless you're using gravity with FallingSand.
For 1.7:
/setblock X Y Z <block ID> [Damage] [Replacement Method] {dataTags}
/setblock X Y Z minecraft:lava
Followed by (with some amount of delay):
/setblock X Y Z minecraft:chest 0 replace {Items:[{id:276,Slot:0,Count:1}]}
Note that not all items are guaranteed to be deleted unless you completely surround the location with a cube of lava.
/blockdata in 1.8:
/blockdata X Y Z {dataTags}
/blockdata X Y Z {Items:[{id:minecraft:diamond_sword,Slot:0,Count:1}]}
Aha, I forgot about the /blockdata command! I'll just wait to use that since it's coming up soon. Thanks for the help!
So, I'm in the making of a new Capture the Wool map, and I need to reset chest every time a team wins the game. I know this can easily be done by summoning FallingSand which I have done.
There's one issue with this. Setting the time to 0.9 replaces the items in the chest. There's no problem with this as I need them to be replaced. Whenever they're replaced, and there's something in that slot, it's instantly spit out, dropping the item onto the ground. This could be a huge problem if someone didn't take many items out of the chests. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? In 1.8, I know you can test for @e (entities) which can be deleted. But for now, how can this be fixed?
Yes! Thanks you Aether team for the sequel to the old mod! I'm so excited to go on an all new journey with new things added from what I remember of the Aether.
This texture pack has made one of my favorites. I'm really happy about the 1.5 update that allows this! But the only thing I don't really like is the soul sand and the netherrack. The soul sand animation moves to fast, but that's just my opinion. Overall great job and keep it up!
Hi cjz__, I was on your website and noticed a animated cape link. I would like to access animated capes. My Minecraft username is NEMAXEDOUT. (Please include the capital letters!) Thanks!
