I'm once again bringing up my server. You spawn on the survival server, but if you want to build instead, you have to go to the portal house(stone building near the public shelter, which is made of cobblestone and has a tower on it), and walk into the portal arch. You're allowed to build anywhere there, and there are no monsters there, either. It's up to you what you do.

Plugins are as follows:
-Worldguard
-Worldedit
-BigBrother
-Lockette
-RemoveExplosions
-SpongeRestore
-StarterKit
-Xcraftgate
-Runecraft

I removed the plugin TeslaCoil for now, because people keep activating it stupidly and end up losing their stuff and then beg me to replace it.

These are the rules:
No griefing - Instant permaban
No stealing from chests
No building structures that have nothing to do with survival in the survival world
No intentional luring of monsters to spawn to kill newbies - Instant kick, repeated offenses = ban

I also want to make a giant rollercoaster in my server. I will supply building materials, and I want it to be put in Earth, so that it doesn't interfere with other structures. I need some good builders for this.

Rules for this are simple:
Go straight to Earth and build(if that is your reason for coming), do not touch anything that's already built.
No griefing. If any griefing is caught, you'll be instantly banned.
No stealing from chests. If you need any building materials, I WILL supply them.


And that's about it. It's up to you what you do, but I still would like a few people helping with the rollercoaster. Design is up to you guys, though, as I'm not a good builder myself. Be creative. You have an entire world entitled to building, so space is no issue. Just don't block off the portal.

(And if you can't connect, at least post in the thread that you can't, or if you want to request a plugin to be added. I'm getting tired of making new threads because nobody posts and I can't double-post)

So yeah... For the moment I DO have ops but they don't seem to come on much. So I'm going to need a couple of volunteer ops to fill in. You need to be trustworthy, and need to have someone who can say you'd be a good op. Being a good op on another server is a plus.

Only ops have permission to use commands, and I already have two or three ops set up. I will not accept any more, not until I can trust you. I've already had one instance of an op griefing, and I banned him for banning another op. Anyway, server's up for a while. But don't whine if I say I'm bringing it down, because I'm the server host for a Lets Play group in another game, so I can't host both at once.

The 'op' application is referring to moderators at the moment. Building abilities are a privilege, not a right, so if any griefing is caught, you'll be demoted to the Guest group.

I'm starting up a new server. I say 99% vanilla because there's a bit of added functionality in this server. The rules are as follows:

1) No TNT. It doesn't work anyway, so don't bother.
2) No excessive swearing. A little is ok.
3) No racist or sexist comments. That's grounds for instant banning there.
4) Teamwork is a must. PvP is off anyway, so might as well help each other.

I am also currently running the following plugins:
-Starterkit(You get beginner tools to start out with)
-TeslaCoil(Zaps mobs that get too close, good for defending spawn)
-SpongeRestore(Sponges are back. Hooray! :biggrin.gif:)
-RemoveExplosions(No more creeper and TNT messups.)

I would love to join. I don't grief, never have, and I am quite crafty at building structures, but mostly for functionality and not looks. Also, uh... You can turn off PvP in the server.properties file, so unless you mean killing by like TNT and lava, the killing rule is kind of unnecessary. But whatever works for you I guess.

Hackers like lulzsec get their amusement from the ragefests they cause by temporarily or permanently shutting down a game or site that's well-trafficked. The group Lulzsec decided to DDOS several sites today. Unfortunately, minecraft was one of the targets. But it's only temporary. So just sit tight and hope it gets brought back up soon. You're only making them stronger if you rage about the lack of minecraft. It's like dealing with trolls: Don't feed them. Just ignore them, and they'll go away.

Well, this totally explains why I try to open minecraft.net it won't load. To steal a quote: "This is why we can't have nice things."

server is up. I am now using bukkit and I will OP both Morpheel and Nintorii for now, as that's all that is needed. I may add in more plugins later, but for now, BigBrother is all I need right now.
